Have not seen the post by East Campbelltown yet but Curtis is not happy..

Haha you wrote it Curtis, you own it mate.

Obviously yet to learn about "trusted sources" in his Twitter journalism career.

East Campbelltown said it will not affect their juniors who will still come through the WT junior development programme. Seems like Curtis has an axe to grind and was all too keen to write a story kicking some skulls without researching all the facts.

an apology to phil1986 would be nice - do it in twitter Curtis as well lol

Curtis is desperate to be acknowledged by the game.
Plenty of blokes like him on the fringe waiting for a scoop.

He's dead in the water now. No one will talk to him after that effort. He'll have to rely on disgruntled players like the Weidlers and Poopers of the world.

Kurt Capewell should replace MCK not Matterson! why is it always us that gets screwed over:sob:

Practically a like-for-like player, though Capewell would be pricier. Capewell must've gone close to setting a NRL record this year for most tackles missed by a forward. Twice he missed 12 tackles in a game, one of those he played 65 minutes. Better to have MCK, just don't start him.

Back in August this year Parramatta shied off Welch because of his second ACL injury;

NRL.com Reporter

Christian Welch's latest ACL rupture is expected to scotch contract negotiations with Parramatta as the Storm forward faces another lengthy stint on the sidelines. Melbourne confirmed the worst for Welch on Saturday morning, with the Queensland Origin debutant requiring season-ending knee reconstruction after going down in the Storm's emphatic 40-4 defeat of Brisbane.

Welch has been in talks with the Eels for some time, having met with coach Brad Arthur and toured club facilities in Sydney's west. But his second ACL tear – to the opposite knee that cost him a start in the 2017 grand final – is understood to have big ramifications for what Parramatta are willing to offer given Welch will likely miss the start of next season.

The 25-year-old took up a contract option with the Storm for next year in May when it was feared Welch had torn his ACL against the Tigers. But club and player were willing to negotiate a release if a chance for a better contract presented elsewhere when follow-up scans revealed he had only suffered meniscus damage. Welch's rise to the Origin arena and sterling reputation off the field had made him an attractive option at market, with Parramatta identifying him as a prime recruitment target for the front-row stocks. The Eels have vowed not to be drawn into paying overs under their new management, evident in the lengthy contract talks before captain Clint Gutherson re-signed.

Apparently Christian Welch is on our radar??

Would be a very decent signing

Yeah that sounds about right, someone who’s recovering from an ACL operation.
Matt Ballin mark 2.

You can be as negative as you like. ACL or not he is ..... Quite a talent. Will be a Queensland rep regular.

Don't forget, Tedesco had two knee injuries and Benji went through 2 shoulder injuries. Both are fine today.
It's a punt. It's the only way we can compete.
