Hooker depth chart looks quite good now:
1. Api
2. Brailey
3. Haywood
4. Josese

Wouldn't be surprised if we saw Api come off the bench next year. 15/20 minutes either side of halftime to try break open the game. Brailey more of a strong defender solid service hooker then a creative running hooker like api.
Probably favour Brailey to start. Not a negative to Api just in terms of what they bring to the table.

Knights always had great talent, it was just about getting the best out of them. Their playing roster is premiership worthy - Ponga, Brown, Crossland, Sharpe etc.

On the back of Brailey, I'd be going hard for Tyson Frizell on a 2 year deal (perhaps at the expense of Royce Hunt).

I'd actually pay a bit of 'over's for Frizell because the team needs his work ethic, training attitude & leadership. Yes he'll be 35 years soon but he's rock solid and fit as.

Frizell & Brailey bring what we need in the short term.

If Benji wants to make all the big boy decisions then he needs to wear the big boy consequences....

Grow up mate, Benji cannot compete with 1.2 million a year as week as a ton of third parties, Luai took the $$ and anyone with a brain cannot truly blame him as he is a professional footballer that does not owe loyalty to the tigers at the expense of millions of extra.. Benji had no control over tha at all.. I think he has made some strange selection this year and the AD drama hasn’t helped but Benji is not Robinson Crusoe in struggling to coach this club but the difference is he wants to be here as he actually cares about the club and wants it to succeed.. Cleary amd McGuire couldn’t make semis and I think Benji will.. time will tell but trying to throw blame at him without context is moronic as was the idiotic treatment of Shane Richardson,, why don’t you do a deep dive into the 15 years before Benji coached and what the review found if you are so keen to straw man a fall guy

Hadnt heard anything so silly in ages. Backing Benji when we get players back next year. He kept going on saying your assuming. Fair enough then lets look at facts. Sheens came in with Benji as an assistant to learn. Truth was Sheens was just the face while Benji was doing the coaching so that was no pressure on Benji. When Sheens was going to pick up a spoon he told Benji he needed to get hands on cause it was Sheens rep. Benji and the club refused and Sheens walked away. Benji and the club telling him he knew the risk and he agreed. Now Benji has been coaching for 4 years now. We have 2 wooden spoons. A 13th place finish and yet to be seen but prob 2nd last this year. For 4 years our attack has been garbage, our defence non existant and the so called standards at the start if the year, thrown out the window. After Luai signed with P.N.G any coach with 2 braincells starts realigning things for the future. Not Benji we just keep putting him in at 6. Latu plays every position other that the one he is taking next year, wingers at centre. A bunch of guys who need surgury, instead of ending their seasons now so they can have surgury and be right for preseason and hit the ground running next year, no we will keep playing them, maybe once their limbs fall off we will worry about it. We have no depth, Benji assembled this squad, Benji called Herbert while on a bobcat to see if he wanted to come. This is Benjis roster. Any kind of a coach even an amature one doesnt allow Doueihi to play last week, not our one. What pisses me off is in the pod last night he was using the mental health card. How we need to worry about men hurting themselves. Bullcrap, im so sick of this mental health excuse. There are men and women who suffer greatly with mental health, dont dishonor their struggle with a halfwit N.R.L player. My question to the guy on the pod would be this, so Adam couldnt play because of his mental health, fair enough, then you explain to me how on thursday hes mentally unwell but by monday morning in the meeting hes good to go. So in 3 days 2 of which was a weekend he went and saw a pasychiatrist or psychologist and got his mental health sorted. If he could get it sorted in 3 days how bad could it be. Also the guy your backing with your rubbish back the Bunj. Benji admitted when he spoke about it, that he was trying to call Adam to get him to play. Why are you trying to convince a guy to play who you believe is mentally unfit at that time. If the guy on the pod is so worried about mens mental health then he has to admit Benji is unfit to coach. Not back Bunj. Its an excuse and all bullcrap. The guy on the pod is taking the piss, im sorry for the rant but im so sick of these fanboys who make up all this gibberish and live in a fantasy. It shouldnt be back the Bunj it should be Sack the Bunj. Hes the biggest nepo baby in the N.R.L.

Agree with the Mental health rubbish and all the rest, especially Luai's disruption and Latu's mismanagement. My other main concern is the continual reference to Doeee playing with a busted shoulder - um, then don't play him Bunji and get it fixed FFS!

Benji did do that in 2024 after his umpteenth comeback by resting him after the lopsided win vs Canberra and ADs magic try at the death. He got the shits back then which ought to have been a warning of things to come.

So Bunji should have trumped ADs Mental Health Card with the Coaches Bower killing Physical Wellbeing card which helps his mental health recovery as well!!

Personally, I'd have a sneaky look at Papenhuyzen too. Doesn't hurt to ask.

Mentor the younger lads, show them what needs to be done and what it takes.
