It’s bloody ridiculous. How many more ways can they destroy the game?I will stop watching if this BS happens
The NRL is becoming more like Reality TV Game Show then a Sport
Its a disadvantage to 7th and 8th having to play an extra game while teams 1-6 kick back and freshen upif we finish 7th and lose to 10th we dont deserve to be in semis
Now he has all the power and everyone is so scared to say anything negative to him, touch football here we comeIts an absolute joke. I cant stand PVL.
Exactly enough with the depth, how about actually improving the starting lineup and bench, not fringe NRL playersWe don't need depth. Or a 5/8.
We need starting quality players
It’s just reality unfortunately. The comp will be 20 teams in no time and the thought of wild card games appeals to the broadcasters a heck of a lot more than the standard top 8 that’s been going on for yearsIts a joke. If you earn 7th or 8th over 26 rounds, why the hell should you run the risk of missing the finals to 9th or 10th? It goes against every fabric of sport, not just rugby league. Its a disgraceful concept.
I can see it now, Tigers finish 7th, finally do enough to play finials, then lose this bullshit wild and game to 10th placed Parra and our drought continues.
He’s trying to copy the NFL, he absolutely worships the Commissioner so has become the NRL’s version. Why is PVL taking cues from the AFL if our game is so superior?
Wĥat is PVL.He’s trying to copy the NFL, he absolutely worships the Commissioner so has become the NRL’s version.
Peter VlandysWĥat is PVL.
"Successful business"Judging by the amount of reports that were saying that Tyson, his wife and kids were well entrenched in the Newcastle area and that his wife had a successful business there makes the move to Sydney a bit of a story.
This can only be good news as it shows that the Frizells are taking this very seriously and that at least on the surface it doesn't look like Tyson is treating this like a contract to simply top up his retirement nest egg.
Other news around the place is that all concerned parties are not opposed to a contract extension if all goes well next season is also heartening news.
