He wanted to look at his options when playing for the back 2 back premiers

That has to be a concern in contract negotiations

I hope we sign him ...but him leaving mid contract is my major concern

I'm a huge fan of Carlin's but he just doesn't have luck with injuries

I understand your concern, but, let's win a few games in the interim and cross that bridge if we *ever* get to it. If he signs i'm sure he'll want nothing more than to help us win a premiership. He could become a legend at the tigers. Let's get him here at the club 1st.

We got $1m for LM this year and 6 Milli in the bank for next year. I know who I'd want to play for in 2021 if I was JAC too, under Madge.

Doesn’t it seem a bit suspicious that the article is written declaring that Mitchell either plays for the Roosters for next year with no upgrade or Play’s for us. Even going as far as saying a release has been brokered between the two clubs.
Yet the only club Mitchell seems interested in is the Roosters.
I don’t know where I stand with this.
If Mitchell wants to play for us, I’m happy to spend it. Otherwise I’d take whatever rabbitoh rejects on a cut price deal that need to move for him to sign there. Johnson, Gagai, Burns, Doueihi. Whoever.

I think that fact was clear couple of weeks back after which he did not attend a planned signing and our offer was pulled.
Since then he’s been selling himself to everyone that would listen bar WT.. sooooo make your own conclusion on the fella.

We have 5/6 open spots 2021 with $5.7-6m to spend. Significantly better position than most clubs. If we get LM across the line it's on - a lot of talent going on the market next year.
