I guess that means he is def gone.

I can see many people on here still giving it to the club for not having a major signing yet....I tend to sit back and wait until something positive is released by the club,when that is,I don't know...
From seeing what is going on atm,I honestly believe that Madge and co don't want to make the same mistakes like in the past;I also believe that with so many young guys in the system atm,Madge seems to want to create from within..I remember when we had some great young players when Sheens was here and he got that legend Gareth Ellis to the club,that was great...maybe Madge is working on the same formula as it seems to work for us...just my opinion though...


The biggest mistake is to do nothing, even a poor mistake is an attempt to fix the problem we have. But saying this, we just need to limit our exposure, spending $500k to attempt to fix a significant hole is in my view, worth it.

Matulino, McQueen, Reynolds, Packer and Jennings can be classified As our recent costly mistakes. And for me we can perhaps add Mbye and Taylor to that list. Having Smith and McIntyre also clogging up our $s and top 30 list sure begs a question ...... how many costly mistakes can we afford to make.

Matulino gave this club plenty and played nearly every game until injury ended his career, so very unfair to label him as a costly mistake.

Doueihi continues to be linked to Wests Tigers, but his heavily back-ended deal – more than $500,00 this year and $600,000 next year – has stalled neogitations.

Like the Tigers, Melbourne were also interested in Doueihi – as a centre, not a fullback – but were not interested unless Souths picked up a big part of his contract. - SMH.

Seems to be some interest in Doueihi. I wonder what value Tigers and Storm place on him?

They're only saying us and Storm because we missed out on Latrell and Melbourne have six spots to fill on their roster.

I think there's a good chance will end up signing Douehi and BJ and maybe getting that big kid from Parramatta for 2020 as well. Can't see why the Slimeys would really want to expend resources on someone who they know will be off at season's end.

BJ has a lot more x factor than Marsters, and has experience that we need. As long as there's a decent winger on his outside then it will do wonders for us......

How can $1m be classified a ‘War Chest’ - we were willing to part with that for 1 player and now talk of shovelling it out for bogans like Dugan & Doueihi?
Sign BJ for sure then it’s Ado Carr at all costs for me, he offers speed and knows his way to the line.
I’d seriously turn off if I had to watch Dugan writhing on the ground in pain after each tackle then popping up to confirm the farce a minute later - just the site of those Tatts makes me vomit, skin the guy like a snake if we’re dumb enough to throw him a lifeline.
Dugan was also the instigator of “fullback money” when he was whinging and whining at the Dragons for more coin then ditched them when they didn’t relent.
I’m sick of the mention of “fullback money” on this forum, it makes you sound like a prodigy of Dugan and Buzz.
