Why would Eels let Stefano go? The four teams above would all be happy, considering, but unless the Eels had a CEO/coach transplant, its doubtful they'd let Stefano go.

I read that not as an ITK post but more of a wishful thinking situation with the last sentence which was ‘make it happen’

Why would Eels let Stefano go? The four teams above would all be happy, considering, but unless the Eels had a CEO/coach transplant, its doubtful they'd let Stefano go.

Believe Eels are attempting to nab back a junior that we may have signed to make a play for JAC. They’ve long admitted Bevan French didn’t have what it took to be a real speedster and have outside back riches that could dazzle even Belly... the player they’d like to poach is not Stefano so he is now a bargaining chip on our shoulder!

If true, Madge is really trying to build his own side as quickly as possible...which is a good sign. Can't help but think its an interruption to preseason though...

Maguire talking up Mbye as hooker seemed a bit suss for a coach who hasn't said much for months. Could be a red herring as he is the only tradeable player who we have that would fit in with the Storm's stated conditions for a deal.
