Good one...didnt know that about Bunji. Im worried about Momo going as i had him penned in as our kicker, looked to be striking them really well....Now we are relyiing on stop gap kickers.

I think if we can get Grant, pick up Aitken, move Mbye back to 1 AND have a red hot go at JAC we'd be in a great position come round 1.

The NRL lacks any clear governance, everything is up to that moron with a solar panel for a head. They will probably find a way to sink the deal.

Honestly I think you'll find they have clear governance, the governance being that the NRL CEO can make executive decisions.

Imagine being Super League, they don't have control over the machinations of their clubs.

If this means we send Momo to the Storm for the final year of his current WT deal and Bellamy likes the kid, Momo probably won't want to come back. That might be OK too if some other part of the deal involves a further trade, say involving JAC to WT. As to the young hooker Grant, he seems to be just a fill-in until Liddle is back or Simpkins is ready to go. Goal kicking this year still a worry though.

What the hell is a one year player swap. Especially when Momo is off contract. I swear, this game is passing my by.

This could be the transaction that seriously opens the trade window that’s been talked about for years.
As a professional sport the game needs that kind of intrigue and flexibility for clubs. I’ve been advocating it for years and a lot of coaches are for it. The Nrl is full of prehistoric dinosaurs who are holding the game back

Fair enough, but unless we sign Momo for 2021, how is he coming back?

Apparently it’s a swap arrangement where current club continues to pay their existing 12 months contract money.
Also word is that Momirovski is off contract at the end of 2020 but the club is trying to sign him to a new deal, despite the impending loan to the Storm.

Goalkicking is a concern definitely. Hopefully MBye or another recruit can fill that void for us.

Someone on the Melbourne Storm forum (take with a grain of salt) is implying it's not a loan, he's leaving Storm.
