I loved the guy when he was here but I don't see this as a good opportunity for us. He comes across as being Latrell like and we will just get dragged through the mud for no benefit.

I also think he is a winger and we will be right for wingers.

We have no pace on the wings. There needs to be a huge recruitment drive this year for wingers with genuine pace.

We're building nicely I think Paws. Next year will allow us to target some decent strike wingers. Still may land one this year, who knows.

The Bulldogs have signed England International Forward Luke Thompson for season 2021. This is the player that I thought would have taken our pack to another level especially if Lawrence was leave at the end of year. Pretty disappointed in this although I have no knowledge if we even made an offer. There is some gems in the Super League and hoping Madge's contacts in Wigan can land one for next season.

While I agree that he's a good player,
I think he got bashed around when
England toured last year to be honest.
The NRL is a whole different animal

It’ll also depend on who’s available to sign as well I guess. Just hope we get it right. Would’ve loved to sign Luke Thompson, think he’ll go really well at the bulldogs.

And I believe $500k is a reasonable amount for him when you consider Nofoaluma is on a reported $450k. No way Nofoaluma is worth anywhere near that figure.

Very true about Nofoaluma ...if JAC is worth 500 k that is max ...I'd say myself 450 k Nofoaluma is maybe a 300 k player

But I think from memory he was signed a week or 2 after that Souths game when he had 10 offloads and ran for over 200 metres ....I don't think he has got within cooee of that performance since
