Harry Grant will be here soon enough. Expect him to be our #9 for this season.

A kid who plays for the Sunny Coast with no NRL experience doesn't count as a No9 imo.
And I doubt he's going to start at 9.

We need an experienced 9, our pack lacks experience as it is.
Grant, Walters, Mbye, Reynolds, ET are not the answer, they're either not 9s or they're not ready.
I also don't think Liddle is the answer, this position is our biggest concern imo and it will define our season and next 5 - 10 yrs

They wouldn’t give away Momirovski for a year if they didn’t plan on using Grant in the team. He’s the best option for hooker at our club by far and that’s even if Liddle is fit. Grant will be starting #9, if not straight away then at least sometime during the season.

I reckon our forward pack is actually pretty good. Lots of size and aggression. Crawley’s just a gossip columnist.

Lol he said we would be fools if we didn't sign Doueihi . And now he's saying we are still crap now because it our supposedly rubbish forward pack . I guarantee you , the titans, Newcastle , Souths , Canterbury, warriors , NQ (minus Lolo), manly , even Penrith and the Broncos (minus fifita and Hass) would consider trading Thier packs for ours . This is a good pack fellas . The sheer size of each guy, we have never ever had .
The closest , was the pack with taupau , but not much else , other than young kids.
Crawley opinions are the worst . He has zero credibility.

He’s right but he’s underestimating the ability of these kids. Mikalele, Twal, Aloai, Leilua, Garner, Musgrove will dominate more heralded packs.
We are building nicely one year away from doing some real damage. This team will make the 8 with Harry Grant as hooker. This kid is dynamite.

Best way to attract players like this is to kill it this year and make them want to be a part of our team..
I just have a good feeling about our team this year after the 2 signings last week..

I am really excited to have a fullback with size to help defuse bombs ...

Blocker has his failings, as do we all, but nobody can doubt his love of our club. He had a terrific record as a player and was one of the best front rowers to ever play the game. If Madge reckons he can help the team, good enough for me.

I have to disagree about Blocker loving the Wests Tigers. He loves the Balmain Tigers but never got over the merger. I have not once heard him say Wests Tigers it’s always just Tigers. So no thanks he can stay in the past with the rest of both Balmain and Western Suburbs legends.

What’s going on with Gebbie?

Not much at present. Tigers have an interest. If Souths want a forward. Aren’t going above and beyond

It was immediately obvious watching Seyfarth in SG Ball that he was NRL bound. Yes he wasn't the complete product but not many are at that stage of development. Suli, Papenhuyzen and Doeuihi were all in that team and my view at that time was that all 4 were NRL bound. Seyfarth under Maguire will be a revelation.

I would be more concerned about Aloiai. From all accounts a really nice guy but always seems to be playing on 2 cylinders, lacking fitness for the 13 and his defence is pretty ordinary. I believe he needs to start in CC and earn his selection in the NRL.

I like Josh, but you are certainly correct on him needing to pick up his defensive game, particularly getting to and working from marker, with his 'A' defender cover also lacking a little.
