Whats everyone's thoughts on having a chat to Teddy in November? He comes off the Roosters contract in 2021.

I'd say we only would have a slim chance, but the club has it's act together now and maybe he sees a lure in pulling a Robbie/Benji?

We can shift Douiehi into 5/8th.

I'd think you're on serious drugs, Teddy wouldn't come back for 2m a year

He's gone and will not come back. I've heard multiple people say he'll "do a LeBron." Nah, he's going to spend the rest of his career at Bondi. He was a fan of the club as a kid, they are successful and he'll be getting his off-the-books payments as long as he is useful to them.

The only way he'll ever be back at Wests is if Easts decide he's washed up and we're stupid enough to offer big coin to bring him home.

If he ever does come back it will be when he’s over 30, years past his best.

Cos they think Tedesco would be tempted to come back? No chance.

I know it’s wishful thinking but if the club can get Packer medically retired we should be going hard after Fifita and Frizell. We need some difference makers. Our team is solid but lacks punch.

If you're talking about Brisbane Fifita, then yes absolutely.

Simpkins has big wraps, I think Madge sees him as our long term 9, but unless we upgrade Simpkins to the top 30 we will still need a hooker for the first half of the year

Someone is being cunning and it’s not the Storm it’s us. Madge can see Brandon Smith is close to the best hooker in the competition. He will take over from Cam. Grant is very good tbh I believe he is the next QLD hooker. Simpkin is also a gun but a few years away Grant is ready now.
He’d be the best hooker at WT by a very long distance and that’s with zero FG experience.
I’ll go as far as to say he’s miles better than Farah last year and I’m a big Farah fan.

A few years ago i was offered a job back at a place I used to work. Pay and position was a little better I was also contacted by another place. Dont know how they knew but they offered similar. I was going to go to old workplace because it was familiar and I knew what to expect.
I didn't end up moving as was offered more and got to work under a different manager.
My experience in this makes me think it's possible. But I don't think chooks will let him go.

Grant and Simpkin is no bigger a risk than Liddle and Simpkin IMO.

I agree, the Chooks will never underestimate him like they did RTS. Maybe one day Tedesco breaks down and Roosters have a new toy to promote, but that is the only way I can see. And why would he leave, he's in career-best form, rep jerseys, B2B premierships and unlimited orthodontics in Bondi.

I know it's a big call but I think Easts have had their time in the sun. Cronk IMO was integral to their success. Teddy is important to them but he was the best icing on the cake.

They will continue to feature in the top 8 for at least the next couple of years. That alone would be enough to keep Teddy there. Spent what five or six years here missed finals and will likely play finals every year of his first deal with Easts. As if he'll walk away from that.

The only thing for someone like teddy to leave the Roosters would be a new challenge. 2 x premierships in 2 x years could be a bad thing for the Roosters in regards to keeping teddy. I don't think he's ever coming back to us. Parra will probably sign him. They seem to get whoever they want.
