Thought I'd be nice and post it a bit early.

The 5 players Tigers have offered contracts are:

Brenton Lawrence
Curtis Rona
Alex Glenn
Jeremy Latimore
Albert Vete

Exciting for you Tigers fans, can confirm this isn't a rumour and are all offical offers that have been put through.

Regarding players resigning with the club, I can confirm that Matt McIlwrick has resigned with the club or is really close in doing so

2018 looking very bright for the Wests Tigers!!!!

That just sounds like it's been lifted straight off this forum, particularly the wording of "offered contracts" which is not usually how these things are reported.

vete, Rona and Glenn would be nice. SG already reported all the above offers I believe.

Ivan Cleary has orchestrated the biggest cleanout in Wests Tigers history in recent months - and he’s not finished yet.

Since taking the reins in early April, Cleary has signed a remarkable 11 players, while six have either moved on or will at season’s end.

I’m hearing Cleary is still planning plenty of more changes for the last-placed Tigers, with 10 players off contract including experienced campaigners Matt Ballin, Joel Edwards, Tim Grant, Justin Hunt, Jamal Idris, Jack Littlejohn, Kyle Lovett, Matt McIlwrick and Kevin Naiqama.
At least half these players also won’t get new deals, with the Tigers looking to sweep a broom through their under-performing ranks.

Rugby union convert Curtis Rona is one player in the Tigers’ sights, while versatile Rooster Connor Watson is another.

That would be an interesting one with most of our signings in key positions already done, where does Watson fit? You wouldnt carry Watson and Liddle on the bench and the reason he wants out of the Rorters is for a starting spot…. Im all for competition for places unlike what we have now where selections are made because there is no other option.

Ballin at the time was a good risk. Unfortunately it didn't work out.

I very much doubt he would be offered another contract.

Would be a good person to have have in the S & C team though.

Aren't u the same guy who thought Anasta was a good idea?

Ballin who was nearing retirement and coming off a knee reconstruction was never a good idea
