That would be an interesting one with most of our signings in key positions already done, where does Watson fit? You wouldnt carry Watson and Liddle on the bench and the reason he wants out of the Rorters is for a starting spot…. Im all for competition for places unlike what we have now where selections are made because there is no other option.

No offer was officially made (for several reasons, one being illegal) but the tigers did make enquiries to roosters when Moses threw his tantrum, roosters denied it tigers moved on and signed Reynolds. Fast forward 5 weeks and Watson now wants out of the roosters and his management has seeked permission to talk to other clubs, tigers were contacted to see if they were still interested (which they are) but no formal contract offer has been made at this stage.

Well there suggestion we were after Dylan Edwards. So that's two starting full backs so I'm thinking tui at 1 not done deal.

Apparently we are likely to get 4/5 players we are after ( Lawrence,Latimore,Vete and Rona).

My god if we got those 4 it would be beyound belief and 2018 would be the strongest WT line up ever.

Packer is good but I question whether he can play prop and lock at the same time!

Oh he'd fit somewhere I'm sure. There is still a couple of question marks over key positions, namely fullback and half.

A lot of these moves (or attempted moves) took place at the same time, i.e. before Lolohea came across.

Man what a good Buy Lolohea is. Sure he is rough around the edges but is already having an impact in our attack.

forget ET on a edge we need a big human on a edge, some one who can destroy a defense and hurt in defense. still believe greg bird is what we need, runs hard hits harder and is a top class grub.

Not sure why people are saying "Buy Greg Bird because he is a big unit"…. He is definitely a grub and has a reasonable work rate/mongrel in him. My thoughts would be someone else.

We need a pack strategy. With the people we have already, we don't need another workhorse yet.

I don't think we need another centre. A fast winger would be great as well as a prop and an edge backrower. Ideally both should be able to have an impact.

If we get Rona, I think we're good to go with FG backs. Look at promising youngsters elsewhere - guys that have their path to FG blocked by big names etc.

Forward pack definitely needs some additions at FG and ISP level.
