I don't think TMM is the answer. He's was a reserve grader at Penrith which makes him just a first grader at WT. I really think we need to sign the best the market has to offer at the positions we need to fill. We need a quality FB, half and back rowers. I'd rather spend the balance of the cap on the best we can get rather than go for quantity. We may not get them but we have to go for them. The players we've signed so far are a mixed bag with some good buys mixed with average players.
 
Yep iive had enough of brooks. hes had enough chances.

Go for a star playmaker. Cronk, maloney. Weve got the money. So sick of our game management and kicking game. Under 10's could do better

I agree but it's going to be hard to get the best players. The best players might not even be on the market.

Still going forward I'd like us to focus solely on quality. I think Newcastle signing Ponga is a good example of what we should be doing.

Maloney though is exactly what we need.

Two experienced-quality back rowers and a prop please ….. before enacting else.
We can look for top line half in +2019 if things don't work out with our current half signings.

Agree on Maloney. He has 'winner' written all over him (just above 'grub'). Don't know how we'd organise having Reynolds and Maloney in the same team but you'd know they were always trying.

So the NRL will register a contract for an Australian and Origin representative for under 250K..very interesting…

I think the Integrity unit should be informed of this.. I would definitely take Fergo for that price...

Someone needs to put pressure on, and potentially replace Brooks.

We HAVE to sign another okay make for next season. So far, only brooks, lolohea, Reynolds and gamble signed. Assuming gamble is top 30, I think we still need another playmaker in top 30\. I hope we ARE going after Watson as someone like that would great utility value across halves and back.

So if this is true I wonder what value the Chooks have him on their salary cap. Surely you can not have a SOO outside back on your books for 250,000.00 and if in fact they have paid someone off and taken that out of his contract than that money has to be accounted for in their cap.

Love this one to blow up big time, but we are talking about the Chooks

That would be absolute gold if this was exposed and proven, plus Fergo played for Australia as well as origin, all while on $250k, makes me sick
