As someone mentioned earlier, we need to shed some halves before looking at more of them. Someone like Madden can't get a look in because he's never going to be picked ahead of Brooks, Marshall or Reynolds.

If Marshall retires and Reynolds finds another club sure, but not until then. I don't know why we signed Walters, we still have Doeuihi, Mbye, Talau, Madden who are all halves.

Was Walters signed before Dirty Harry? Might be wrong but I thought he was?

I think you are right, from memory signed before the HG loan agreement.

Denan Kemp is a good listen on his podcast and spoke about the Tigers needing one big signing. One guy to make the Tigers more “attractive”. A Ponga / Fifita type signing. Means paying overs for one signing but being worth it as it creates an ability to attract others. Very little of that caliber free at the moment though. May be a reason for going so hard for Trell.

Please no more about Milford or Johnson. Thats makes me cringe more listening to last weeks game. Plus we would be going backwards another 10 yrs. but i must say the Dad jokes are great! So keep them going!

One to watch for playing in Jersey Flegg is Josh Rizk. Playing in the number 1 jumper here.

Playing Sydney Shield at the moment with a few of the jersey flegg boys spread across Ryde and Campbelltown. Felix Smith is a highly regarded front rower worth keeping an eye on too.

Hopefully we can grab JAC. Would be really good to have a NSW origin boy in the team as they all seem very close and it could help us in future signings

Here we are struggling to make signing yet the NRL are bending over backwards to help the rooters and the storm to add more strike power to there teams , just shows how much the nrl want the better sides to continue to be the top sides .

As usual. NRL version of “jobs for the boys”

There are no top level halves available for next year. We should be looking at Fly Halves from AU Super rugby. Maybe some young gun that is stuck behind an established player, Fly Halves are often the goal kicker as well. Do something different.

Complete nonsense. NRL approved the Grant-Momo loan, without precedent, and so far that's been very far in Tigers' favour.

If SBW wanted to play for Tigers or Warriors the NRL would do the same thing. We need to stop accusing outside parties for our inability to attract top-flight talent, and figure out a way to change things.

I think Jake Clifford has a lot of upside if he were to become available also Tyrone Peachy would be a good utility on a subsidised wage.

Agree with Clifford.

Peachy has turned into a nuffie.

There will be half a dozen fringe Panthers available at seasons end as contracts are upgraded. This could include Burton, Staines, Laurie and Aeikins as all have been shopped around, contract or no contract. I don't know if the Tigers have shown an interest in any but the Panthers definitely need to save some salary cap.

Who are they upgrading? Jfh. Crichton.?

The ranga on loan at the warriors might be a solid addition too

There's a bit of movement among player managers right now as Penrith make players available. It sets the cat among the pigeons as far as current negotiations are concerned. For example, if a manager is trying to get a fullback job for one of his clients and Aekins is all of a sudden available, it changes the whole landscape. I know this because my nephew's agent described that exact scenario to me.

Albert Hopoate.... future star of the game has huge wraps about him as a fullback however would be hard to get a start behind Tommy turbo!

Off contract end of this year, most likely will be on the move.... yes I’m pulling out the highlight package - the kid has the speed and X factor along with incredible strength to be a real problem in the league
