A poster on the Illawara site advised Saab to WTs, Sailor has rejected a 2 year deal, Aitken will not be re-signed and both Sims bros want out. Sims bros news is a shock as both are Illawarra juniors.

I thought the cutoff for signing players was yesterday but it seems clubs are still making moves.

If we signed Saab it would have to be as a development player joining our top 30 next season or we would have to move someone on as our top 30 is full.

We need a back rower so Tariq would be the better option. I hate the bloke but he would go well under Madge. Both are a bit older now so hopefully if we did sign him it would be a short deal

Rumours are Sharks are looking at Tamou from Penrith. He would certainly do a job for us in adding some experience to our forwards, surely we have a red hot crack at him, offering a bit more than Sharks. There isn't many others out there that fit that description.

We would have to move someone on then. If it’s me I’m giving him a development contract for the end of this season, he can still play first grade, then promote him next seasons. It’s a loophole to sign players if your top 30 is full.
