I can’t understand why we’d want Tamou when he have Twal....both very similar players for me

I’d take another Twal if we could have one.

Tamou is very much like Twal.
If he was to come it would be for defense not meter eating. Tamou has alot of urgency getting off tackle players and rush back to the line to hold it. He has abit of speed sideways as well.

I get the experience in the forwards but would prefer Jesse or another forward if it was my choice

Corey Allan Souffs FB has had a wow of game against Storm off contract 2021 won't get much of a look in when Latrine's on deck could be a cheapie pick up ex bronco as well

Despite having a year to run on his contract at the Wests Tigers, five-eighth Josh Reynolds could be on the move to the English Super League next year.

Speaking on Sydney Triple M’s The Rush Hour With MG, journalist Brent Read said that there is interest from a couple of clubs.

“There’s a bit of movement around in England, and Josh Reynolds’ name is on the radar There’s some interest in Leeds, but Wigan’s the interesting one.” he said.

But Reynolds’ move overseas does hinge on the future of a couple of players.

“As I understand, they’ve agreed to a deal with Jai Field, but Jai Field needs to play another game to take up that deal,” he said.

“The other moving piece is Bevan French, there’s some speculation that Bevan French wants to come back to Australia, return to the NRL.

“Now if that happens, either Jai Field doesn’t come to fruition or Bevan French comes home, that may open up a spot for Josh Reynolds.”

Read says that the Reynolds, who has played at the Tigers since the 2018 NRL season, has a big decision to make.

Jai Field is playing that extra game this weekend

Don't get me wrong, as there's some slim pickings available but not a fan of either Tamou or Proctor if I'm honest.
The Frizell, Taumalolo, Talakai, JDB(not that I'd want him), Molo and BMM types seem to be making the most impact in the game currently - big and mobile types.
No offence but anyone not of this mould or monstrous in size(think NAS, Tunoa-Brown) are reduced to workhorse types if the overall team lacks any size and this where we currently are.

We don't need anymore workhorses and need to move away from aging players. Experience is good but we need to see players that will strengthen the team and I don't believe a Proctor or Tamou does - not for any benefit to the future of the game anyway.

Man that's a good comment.

Here’s my recruitment , sign burton to play 5/8 , Staines to play fullback , Procter to play backrower and Welch to play front row . The rest we have , or we can pick some others Up as up and comers .

I saw DT headline suggesting burton wants to stay

This is what happens at the Roosters ... the boy needs to get on his bike now and go somewhere to play NRL full time .... really needs some good old fashion advice being promised the world ... yeh when an injury occurs ! Get out now young fella and make your own way .

It would certainly say something if he preferred to play reggies than come to the Tigers

That’s great news, thanks. Is there still any interest in the UK for Reynolds?

If asked this same time last week I would of said more than interest for Reynolds. Was going along nicely but sudden change of heart (by Reynolds) has now put a halt on it all. Not sure if an NRL team has stepped in with interest but certainly hit a road block.

Madge wants to see what Madden can do but has a fear of rushing playmakers into debut, Madden certainly believes he’s ready, confident kid.

Brent Read has some kind of axe to grind against the WTs for what ever reason. I find him very passive aggressive when he speaks about the WTs so I’d take anything the guy has to say with a grain of salt.

I believe he knows marina go fairly well. Always found him pretty upfront and on the money with news about the tigers. Far far better than most

Wasn’t Chammas the one that possibly ruined the signing of Conner Watson for us by leaking it on 7news.

Don’t think so. Don’t think he’s ever had anything to do with channel 7 either.

Not really .... articles that I have read from him and commentary has been pretty good.
The one that has the axe to grind and uses every opportunity to put the boot is the DT Crawley. He is just totally off with the faries.
