Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I'd honestly seriously look at signing Hoffman, an experienced second rower who's played for his country and state. A one year contract would be good…....

From what I'm understanding about rochow is that he's only at the storm until the end of this season? Has been plagued by injury the last few years.. See what happens I guess..

Rochow would not be cheap. He was on big money at the knights and Souths lured him away. His poor form and injuries have likely dropped his value, but don't think he is a minimum contract player.
Would rather sign Eisenhuth

Rochow would not be a much better forward than Grant. Wests Tigers have the money available, the fact that they had considered spending big money on Watson is clear evidence of that. They should consider spending the money on another quality forward or two in the mould of Matulino or Packer.

I can't believe we're talking Robbie Rochow! We have the money, we need to be chasing better players than this.

Think a side needs a minimum of four experienced props on their roster in to cover injuries and quality is a bonus.

Agreed. I am dismayed we have plunged to the depths of Rochow. Even more surprised some are happy with his possible acquisition.

Apart from a tweet saying Rothfield saw two people in a cafe is there anything else hinting t we are even talking to him

Rochow is pretty ineffective as a prop - too small. When he was playing his best (a number of years and a number of injuries ago) it was in the 2nd row. Eisenhuth offers more for mine.

We got from a Teli crony tweet to a signing in about 3 pages.
Wow! Take a breath people!

The Tele reports are probably laughing about how quickly this meeting became a signing. Doing there work for them

Yep, we need at least four experienced props for first grade each week. Plus another two in case of injury or suspension. Plus another two if the coach wants to play three centre forwards.

News is that the Sharks just signed Gray and that Leutele will be staying on and not being released to the Gold Coast. On top of signing Dugan and re-signing a number of other players the Sharks must also have a salary sombrero like to Roosters!!

Maybe they are paying their players peptides in brown paper bags…or that white powdery stuff their ex chairman loves.
