Making the 8 will not be easy, cant see any of the top 5-6 teams losing their way in 2021. Also Titans and Manly both look like improving next season you would think.
So either huge strides forward needed with most of our current squad or some more recruitment is essential. As we stand, even adding Tamou and JAC our roster probably won’t be good enough.

I'm with you. Tamou and JAC will make us better than this year but if Sharks don't have guys like Shaun Johnson out, Turbo full season with Walker, our loss of Harry Grant too, us hoping Brooks returns to 2018 form but not sure, feels like somewhere 8th to 10th is likely. Probably 2022 when we have shed more players we will be higher up there.

Yep, assuming we sort out fullback (already a big assumption), we still have a glaring hole at 5/8 and we are still 2 quality forwards away from a pack that has the depth, grunt, attitude, ball players etc to consistently provide the platform for a top 8 team.

Addin Fonua Blake is requesting a release from Manly so he can move out of Sydney

We can move our training out of Sydney for him can’t we?

Would be so good for us I reckon. Explosive damaging aggressor. Shame about the Sydney part though.

Campbelltown is out of Sydney isnt it?

Better still so is Camden!

Good old Camden ??

Picton

I’ve heard he’s looking at Newcastle

Doubt it, too much cash already tied up in their forward pack. I'd say Warriors, Titans or Dragons - biggest need for him and most available cap space.

With the covid bubble and all, warriors would be a pretty tricky move atm imo

Those two signings are great but if we lose Grant I think we're slightly ahead compared to this year. I assume the following year we have some more money to spend and continue to build slowly.

We are one of the clubs with the most room to move in 22 and 23

Wonder when he’ll be in the top squad, next year or 2022. Glad we are keeping him, very highly rated

He looks 30 in that pic, it even looks like there is some grey in his hair.

Nothing wrong with that, I started going grey at 16.

My uncle started going bald at 16, he joined the RAAF after school, so his bald head fitted the recruitment look at the time

Fonua Blake would be a great pick up ...where does he want to move to ....isn't he a Kiwi junior

Outside of Sydney so that rules us out

Um Deh Josh .......

A convicted wife beating anti-vaxxer who has a reputation for bagging out the disabled.

Sounds like the sort of bloke we'd want to build our club around.

Cowboys are building their hopes on a guy who peed on a Anzac Monument

Tamou got done DUI in 2013/14 from memory

Benji had assault charges outside Maccas

JAC broke Covid curfew 3 times

Time to ditch the no DH policy and start making the finals

Just my opinion

He won't be going to the WT's anyway

Yep ! The guy is a self absorbed turd. There’s a certain narcissism in stupidity that goes with this anti vax movement. Add to that the other stuff , and that’s a no from me dog .

He’s a great player that’s all that matters. Does he train and play hard? If so, then we should chase them

Plenty of absolute idiot players in the NRL who have done terrible things, taking the moral high ground gets you no where nowadays. All that matters is if they can play

I can take a guy like JAC who flaunted COVID rules to go on a shoot. I could even take a guy who DUI'd. They are both examples of reckless behaviour, but I cannot abide someone who beats their partner. Domestic violence is something that does not sit right with me. You're free to disagree obviously, but I believe the club and league in general needs to apply better judgment with guys like this. I wasn't happy about Musgrove signing until his conviction was overturned.

Being a great player doesn't absolve you of having to be accountable for your actions. He showed his colours towards women again when Molan made fun of islander surnames (which I don't agree with either.)

I agree....if this is the standard of our no dh policy then I couldn't be happier

I wouldn't say there is a no DH policy..I mean we signed BJ..more a character factor would be taken into account..
