Article today JAC auntie In Sydney took her own life and jac keen to get back to Sydney can you imagine if our club were still holding him....

Nothing will happen to the Storm, they are in the Melbourne bubble. If it was a Sydney club it would front page news about the disregard of player welfare. Especially an indigenous player.

That's why we do the storm no favours. Maybe we need to be abit more ruthless as a club and how we operate. Im sick of being the soft pushover club. We let precious little Mitch (which we didn't need to) out of his contract early and his soft friend Matterson (which we didn't need to) with bugger all from Parra and then Parra refuse to let Stef over to us early (which they don't need to). We need to be smart, make a stand and remember that the club is a business primarily and winning needs to start taking a priority over being nice guys. (Also, we won't get into Ivan and how we rolled over also)

We wonder why the media hammer us all the time, it's like a bully kid who chooses an easy target. That target is us.

He’s the next roosters coach. Robinson a chance to move to France

I was hoping he was shy or sensible and didn't want the pressure that comes with being head coach

Stagg would be a brilliant fullback,i would save a space and money for when he comes off contract and throw the chequebook at him .If he plays origin this year his value will go to about $900,000 a yr,and worth every cent.

We all know we need a half(Burton?),another big forward, and a center, this is possible for next year with players moving on.We will not make top 4 next year but the year after with Mbye,Reynolds, and Packer gone we will need a few star players, Stagg is a nsw player and i would be doing groundwork now for the future.

Mbye here until 2022 unfortunately

If I was the Storm I would be sorting out the JAC before final series as they need him 100% happy and firing. Talou would benefit under Bellamy

Thats why its either yes or no this week then lock up talks. Storm are smart here and own all the cards.

If they lock talks up now, other clubs get another 6-12 weeks to sort through things.

Storm have no need to rush a decision they are clear, give them something in return of value or it doesn’t happen.

I watch Nico Hynes quite closely yesterday he's a very decent FB better than Mbye & Doueihi IMO. Mbye can't catch and Doueihi is constantly caught out of position. If we get JAC what's there to suggest he'd be any better at FB. I'm not sure of his contract situation the storm have probably locked him down but he'd be worth having a crack at.

He’s not bad. Melbourne re-signed him about two weeks ago.

I know we only recently signed him but how about we swap JAC for Kepaoa, he is tall, fast and he would benefit being in a system like storms

He is like for like ?
Maybe a younger less experienced JAC, you could say

I'd like more than one tall, fast and also big player in our backline.

The big thing I look for in a fullback is urgency to get into position behind the play in both defense and attack.

In attack this creates a 2nd/3rd play option

In defense it prevents the kick behind the line and enables cover defense

Hynes urgency his last few games has been brilliant.

AD & Mbye however don’t have that

Yeah very good points, and i get he's playing in a far better team but as much as Doueihi wants to be a FB i dont think he is he's a good centre maybe a 5/8. Its all irrelvant i guess as the storm have locked up Hynes, but if they wanted Talau maybe we ask for Hynes and JAC seeing as though it's likely they will let JAC go reguardless. I dont see JAC working out at FB either so we could be stuck with 3 wanna be fullbacks

Yeah I look at blokes like Hynes, Staines, Burton, Tupouniua and think surely they would rather head to another team where they basically have a guaranteed first grade spot and would earn at least double the amount of money.

Probably more highlights how much of an undesirable location we are.

Why would they take the risk in coming to a club like ours so early in their career. These guys a winners, have been brought up in a winning culture and expect to play semi final football every year. I think they like the systems they are in and will take their chances waiting for their moment to shine rather than chase the $$ too soon.

Anyone who had any doubts as to why WT need JAC just watch last night's match again! Either as full back or winger he is a prized asset. Come on and get this deal done NOW.

fullbacks need game smarts... JAC strikes me as the kind of player who needs help doing up his shoelaces.

If Melbourne require a back with some first grade experience but still in need of development, as a loan option for 2021 only, then Tommy Talou is one player who would benefit from the experience in the Melbourne system while providing the requirement of Melbourne to release JAC to WT. Come back in 2022 to the new look Wests Tigers with more smarts about playing NRL.

Talau is competing with AJ for left wing in NSW Cup next year in most peoples teams and yet we wont swap him for the test winger ?????
