It will be interesting what we do from here:

2021

**Option A:** give up on recruiting for a while...cop some heat...and just sit it out in the event of other teams need to clear room come Jan / Feb. Risky if no one becomes available / risky also if you end up with guys like DWZ. Best available player rather than what you really need.

**Option B:** Take on some big names who are openly being offloaded: Lodge, Bird, Moylan etc. Probably could make 7-8th IF they all had good years / injury free. Massive trouble if they did not.

**OptionC:** Aim at 2022. Build slowly...it will mean finishing 10-14th etc in 2021 and copping a year of bad media / fan's frustration...Madge and co will be hammered...but can position ourselves with young players 'and' cap space by 2022.

Personally, I feel like C is the best option. I can't imagine Madge letting 2021 go though...

C for me... we are already doing that due to no money in the cap and if we snag a top line player for 2022 that club might offer a early release to buy someone else and take pressure off there cap.

If you go with option C and i agree its probably the best we should have already been testing the waters and redy to offer a contract on Nov 1. Hopefully that is whats happening

I'm not sure whether Robinson can take too much credit for the last few good years the Rorters have had. Unlimited salary cap would be more to the point IMO. The year they had a few injuries ('16 or '17) they finished 2nd last.
A quality, stacked roster is more important to success than a coach.

OK. But changing coaching direction again just seems to be all we do. We go around in circles in a continuous re-build phase and never break out of it. With the exception of Sheens that’s all we have done since inception. How about we stick it out with the one coach for a while and let him build his team.

Yep, just tread water for next year (while hopefully improving our culture and our defence) then go hell for leather in '22.
Would take a risk on Lodge for 1 year, maybe 2.
Xavier Coates might be worth a look to, he is off-contract this year or next.

Knights did that and Bennett's reign almost ended up with them folding....terrible results on the field with his decisions and Tinkler running the club into the ground off the field

Disagree I think Robinson is a great coach and seldom gets the credit he is due. Sure he has a star studded roster and a massive budget but he can coach and sometimes it is not as easy gig coaching a team full of over paid egos

Kind of agree, I reckon I could have coached the rorters to win the last two. Same as Magic Mal and the Qld team. My gran could’ve coached that team to win.....
