Yea and what…
Your suggestion didnt and wont happen.
Just like your james ROBERTS SUGGESTIONS.

We can all suggest signing the best players in the comp but whats the point if it's impossible and unrealistic?

I'm ambitious, I aim high and don't settle for mediocrity. I believe that anything is possible. I'm sorry if you're not on my mental level.

Your mental level is delusional ?
Yeah, we arent on the same level cos i live in the real world.
Dont worry little buddy, keep dreaming

If by delusional you mean genius then yes. I'm a world champion armchair coach and an observational mastermind. If I was running this team we would win the GF every year.

Facepalm.

Some nerd thinking hes a genius and could run a team to a GF every year.
You couldnt even run under 7s water.

Tyrone Roberts could be a good depth option for the club.

Can cover fullback or in the halves.

Tyrone indicated a few months ago that he was wanting to stay at GC. But yes, would be happy if we brought him down as pressuring Tui/ Brooks for a spot.

I don't see it happening though, he is in that situation up at GC, why relocate to a whole new town for the same limited opportunities?

I think if we are looking at Roberts to put pressure on Lolohea and Brooks we are in big trouble with the two we have.

I read somewhere he's been disappointed with contract negotiations with the Titans.

Well he's probably the best half left out there. So why not have a crack?

Also played hooker a few times this year as well

Im quite surprised that i seem to be the only one that thinks lolohea is an absolute dud. Yep he has raw talent but thats it, no football brain at all.

In my opinion if tyrone roberts were to come over he gets to pick which part of the spine he wants to play and he gets the jersey!

I think that what tui has shown us since hes been here is the extent of what he will ever offer us, and its lightyears behind tedesco (i know teddys name is a swear word these days but im just talking purely about playing ability).

I know most on here appear to be lolohea fans but do we really think roberts would sign with a struggling club with the motive of putting pressure on struggling halves?

He seems pretty confident in his ability and i cant imagine him signing without knowing he will be a marquee player

To early to make a call on Tui has shown glimpses of what he can do playing in a side thats been trying but disjointed for various reasons maybe not a good as Teddy but on this years performances Teddy has been poor ,with a full pre season under his belt Tui good be anything at FB.with Reynolds in the side I think we can look forward to a much better year and be pushing for a high spot in the 8.

I don't think you are the only one, many on here have expressed doubts on Lolohea's ability.

I think you are all wrong - I don't think he was ever given a fair go at the Warriors, or by Kearney (in fact I think Kearney almost destroyed his prospects). He has never been allowed to settle down in one position - he has incorrectly been touted as a utility player. The problem is, that he is a full back - sure he can fill in at 5/8, half, centre and wing (which is a plus) but he will never be brilliant in those positions. He had played 52 NRL games for the Warriors before coming to the Tigers, many of these were off the bench, wing, half and 5/8 (how many of those were at Full back?).

I suggest that people chill over this guy and judge him on his preferred position, playing with a decent team, a very good coach in Cleary and assistant in Hodgo, after a hard pre season, after he loses some weight and gets his speed back - all the while remembering he is only 22 years old.

He is also a decent goal kicker running at 71% overall in the NRL (sure he missed one last week, not the first nor the last to do this) and will only get better with these two goal kicking coaches as well.

In short "let's give him a go"

Tyrone Roberts an excellent proposition as a depth half. He may even usurp Brooks if he gets injured.

Been a surprise packet at the Gold Coast, he obviously wasn't the issue at the Knights.

Easily the most improved player in the competition.

From Nathan Ryan of Foxsports in his market watch blog when asked who the tigers are looking at -
Hey mate they are looking at another forward and a utility player. They were chasing Morgan Boyle from the Titans but he will stay on the Gold Coast. I'll have some info on their next target in my Market Watch column on Wednesday. I also hear they are still enquiring about fullback's. If they don't sign an experienced one, Lolohea will get first crack.

You're pretty desperate if you are hanging on hearing about rumoured signings.

im starting to like tim grant more and more, wouldnt mind him sticking around for another year.

Agree, we need another experienced prop to take up the slack when Packer/Matulino are out injured, and I don't see any better experienced options on the market. It sounds like we'd have to give him 2 years though.
