Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Any good English forwards in England? Need a Elliot whitehead type player. Or better that a Gareth clone will complement this squad.

No need for clones, the original Ellis is still playing for Hull.
I'd take him back at age 36 before Benchi.

There are some who could work out but they're all mostly locked up long term, so would need to be released.

Alex Walmsley (prop)
Chris Hill (prop)
Liam Farrell (2nd row)
Ben Currie (2nd row) (just back off long term injury)
Mike McMeeken (2nd row)

Bodene Thompson and Hoffman are the 2 best back rowers left unsigned…Bodene was having a cracker of a game yesterday too before he got injured and seems to have came out of an early season form slump and his past month even in the absence of Johnson has been great ...I would take him back..great defender..

Hoffman if he goes around again will likely be a swansong with the Storm...

Honestly what don't people see in Dave Taylor? Coming off the bench he is a wrecking ball!

Value for money!, he's only just come on with 25 to go, you'd need 50-60 minutes from him to justify signing him, surely someone can tap into his psyche and make him an Immortal!.

Yes quick sign him up on that 13 minutes of quality football. He's now up to a grand total of 19 minutes of quality football over the last 2 years…

Better than what we have in our ISP and can add depth

Too late. Going to Canada, if you can believe it. If Fox Sports are to be believed.

Yep down here in Canberra it was reported on friday that Dave Taylor has signed a large $$, 3 year deal with the Toronto Wolf Pack (aren't they trying to get a side together to play in the ESL)

The wolfpack are in the English third division. They are absolutely killing the other teams. They're 15-0 and regularly win by 50+. So they'll be promoted to 2nd division next year with the possibility of being promoted to the ESL the year after

its called depth, the raiders had two off there best forwards sitting in the stands, yet there pack killed the rabbits, if we lose are two best forwards next year we are in big trouble, we need to be signing 4-5 depth forwards.

Bodene runs hard too. I'm with you Geo, I'd take him back in a second.

Me too. Was one of very few players we've had that played the game tough.
