Crichton is going to be a world class full back by the looks of it.
He will command huge dollars in the next year or so.We need to be all over that.

Also keeping Blore is an absolute must.
No doubt if McIntyre got a decent pay Blore will get some big offers rolling in.

We should be all over their young prop Spencer Leniu. He has sone spark about him.

Definitely,Penrith is full of promising young lads atm

I thought Crichton was a centre. Can’t be too great at the back if they wouldn’t slot him back this year

He reminds me of Izzy,
I think he has all the tools to eventually transition to fullback.
Still a tad green so I think Ivan was more comfortable with Edwards.

Speaking of Mansour, the Wests Tigers remain the favourites to secure his services, however the club will not take him on until the end of 2023

Yep, at 31 he’s a little too young for us....let’s wait until he is 34

We missed JAC, still think we should be chasing a 7, Brooks has had enough time and needs to be tapped on the shoulder.
I think he is a weak link.

Letting McIntyre go is a great decision. Anyone who watched him play for the Magpies in 2019 knows that he is a park footballer. Why would the club waste a spot on dead wood like him? If the club signed a substandard player like him from another club the whingers on here here would [censored] and moan about poor management.

I agree

Currently 4 spots open for our top 30. Seems like Seyfarth will take one and possibly could have Mansour taking another. We should still have a good amount of cap problem is there’s no one to sign...

Yet. I'd suggest a few clubs will be scrambling to free up money.

That’s what management will be praying for picking up someone who gets an early release that’s pretty decent.

This is pretty funny. I think it's how you read it. I get the impression Mansour is expecting to get a contract up until the end of 2023 and we aren't prepared to do that. I reckon we can take Mansour on a one year contract with Penrith footing a chunk of the bill or alternatively just a straight swap with Packer and Reynolds.

This is not a bad idea assuming there is a quality kid out there. I'm not sure that there is. If one was available we should go for him. If not I reckon we need a fullback and a fast one as quickly as possible.

Judging by the comments of certain posters from certain threads it sure seems that there’s a massive lack of respect and professionalism in our contract negotitations. We seem somehwat cocky and arrogant yet players feel alienated and disrespected.
We are not the roosters or storm. We can’t offload one player if they get greedy and have our pick of players to replace them. We are the least deisrable club in the comp. We have immense issues selling ourselves to players. If we delvier players harsh ultimatums we have to be extremely confident we could sign better players for the same money. Given we have to pay 10-20% more than other clubs to have any chance we can’t be so cavalier with retention.

You don't know any of that to be true / verified. Where did 10-20% over pay come from?

Also least desirable? Based on what?

Are you delusional or just ignorant?

We are the ONLY NRL club that is unable to sign an elite player. Dogs, Titans, Knights have been regularly performing worse than us yet they sign several origin players, titans obviously with their recent raids and even the Dogs could sign Cotric. Yes they overpaid players but it kick starts their rebuild. We're still in our 9th consecutive year of rebuilding and are still tipped to get the spoon next year.

We continue to offer what a player is deemed worth, often the same salaries as every other club would offer. Considering we're the least successful club in the comp and have a poor culture we HAVE to offer more to entice anyone of note to join us. In the past 12 months alone we missed out on Lomax, Brimson, CHN, Cotric, Sami, Arrow, Jac, Mitchell to name a few that we know of. All players in Origin or rep squads.

Do i have intricate details of our contractual dealings? No. I go off the crumbs the rest of us do. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to draw a fairly obvious conclusion.

Do you live under a rock? The mountain of evidence grows nearly every day lately. Sure it’s not all information that NASA has verified, but there’s plenty of signs that WT is STILL in all sorts.

I live under the rock of verifiable fact and data, do you have any of these to support your argument?

Cool bananas looking forward to how those ongoing Bulldogs, Titans and Knights rebuilds are going. Bulldogs and Titans in particular, many many good decisions over many years of success.

I specifically asked where 10-20% overs comes from. Also "least desirable" and "immense issues selling ourselves".

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. You say yourself you are dealing in crumbs.

We just signed the captain of one of the Grand Final sides, but apparently we cannot sell ourselves.

Ok, I will spell it out for you. Everyone we try to sign choose to go elsewhere.

Do you understand now?

We did sign the ex Captain of Penrith but some context needs to be given. After all, most would agree that while he has been a very good player, he is in the twilight years of his career.

So please tell me about all the rep players we've signed over recent years. I'll wait....

Of course this excludes youngsters looking for an opportunity. Because that's the only type of player we get.

That was not your original statement.
