I wouldn’t rule out Packer getting an extra year. It’s a contract year, and I think he’ll try and rip heads off in 2021. Reynolds is done.

Really? An extra year with us?

I hope he does rip heads off, wins Dally M Prop of the year. But even then, no thanks.

I thou he had some medical problems.

Packer should be extended for a year and play for nothing as a gesture for the $$$$ he been paid for impersonating a first grade footballer.

Stars of the future , bradley , madden and seyfarth . Sounds like u have had a head knock Dwight that’s were ur seeing the stars , them 3 are fringe can’t cup players at best .

He did, the toe, but I don't think he is worth the high price to the club that he is on.

The current squad is already stronger than the season just gone. A whole chunk of dead wood's been disposed of and a couple of gun forwards added to the mix. Young guns like Blore and Mikaele will continue to develop as will Zane Musgrove. The pack will be awesome this year. Add in stars of the future like Kane Bradley, Alex Seyfarth and Jock Madden and the club's looking strong.
They will sign a couple of quality outside backs before the season begins, despite the panic merchant hand wringing that consumes this forum. The future looks bright.

Bellamy might have trouble game planning for that many nevilles???

McIntyre is way better than Seyfarth, way better. I can’t believe they couldn’t see the potential in McIntyre and have just let him go! They will probably let Aloiai walk as well. We can’t afford to lose good forwards like this, our pack is weak enough as it is! There had better be something positive coming our way soon.

This really irks me. The clubs spends 2-3 years on a development pathway, he gets to the point he is selected in first grade, shows good promise and development, and then we let him walk for what is likely less than $50k difference.

I understand we aren’t going to keep all the development contracts, but keep the good ones for gosh sake. We let McIntyre go and keep Seyfarth who has shown nothing with his opportunity and by reports appears to have an attitude problem. Extremely frustrated.

This whole lowballing thing by WT will be interesting to see how it plays out.

We're going to lose a few players in the process, which means we'll have a heap of money in the cap. Wonder where it's going to go?

Shiniest dumbbells in the NRL and only reserve graders to use em’

McIntyre's a park footballer at best. Can't tackle and avoids taking hit ups like the ball is covered in spiders. If you can't identify Seyfarth's talent then may god have mercy on your soul. Rugby League may not be the sport for you champ.

Watch out for jim heard he’s about to pull another prank on you

Sam Ayoub - Stephen Crichton's new manager, maybe the new ambassador should try to stir things up a bit. Unlikely to get him to move but we could certainly bump up his value and force some unwanted decisions out there. Time for us to make Ivans golden handshake cost him more than he planned.

Offer 5 years 3.5 million, food for thought for a young game breaker, would unsettle a rival team looking at a dynasty too

I hear you, Seyfarth is also a worker, despite what people think hits really hard, so his defence is going to be good. Keeps his feet, good motor. The bit he lacks is the metre eating and the hole / barge running.
A younger Eiso in my opinion.
McIntyre did come on in the second half of his final year of cup and carried that form into first grade. Few too many head knocks are a concern but before the start of the year prior the kid was on nobody’s lips.
If Seyfarth does resign, it will be interesting to see how he progresses into firsts. At this rate with no other signings and some injuries his a chance for a bench spot.

Crichton just needs to look at Mansour, its a short career doesn't matter how loyal you are.

He is a game breaker and should be paid.

I would bet my left nut that Packer doesn't get an extended contract.
I don't think any other NRL club will sign him either, so it's off the the office for him.

I think there’s a very good chance Packer and Reynolds won’t play again after this season (for anyone).

There's a reason why Seyfarth hasn't been re-signed and money has nothing to do with it.
