I'm trying to understand our roster for 2021 and I haven't been all over all the news lately, so would appreciate if someone could run their eye over this list being what we currently have in place for 2021. I'm assuming Seyfarth as a re-sign and have the four joining from the development squad and I come up with 27, does that feel right?
Obviously Aloiai and others are in flux but as we stand

1 ALOIAI, Josh
2 BLORE, Shawn
3 BRADLEY, Kane
4 BROOKS, Luke
5 CHEE-KAM, Michael
6 CINI, Zac
7 DOUEHI, Adam
8 GARNER, Luke
9 KEPAOA, Asu
10 LEILUA, Joseph
11 LEILUA, Luciano
12 LIDDLE, Jacob
13 MADDEN, Jock
14 MBYE, Moses
15 MIKAELE, Thomas
16 MOMIROVSKI, Paul
17 MUSGROVE, Zane
18 NOFOALUMA, David
19 PACKER, Russell
20 REYNOLDS, Josh
21 SEYFARTH, Alex
22 SIMPKIN, Jake
23 TALAU, Tommy
24 TAMOU, James
25 TWAL, Alex
26 UTOIKAMANU, Stefano
27 WALTERS, Billy

I think that's right, WT released the 2021 squad a couple of weeks back and it listed 26 (didn't include Seyfarth).

Thanks, so we need at least 3 more and from my estimates which I've been keeping for a few years now, I've got us with about $1 million for those three spots

Also stating the obvious, to do anything significant we'd need to move players along but even a Garner or an Aloiai together are max $650k but then it's $1.65m for 5, so doesn't change much

As always it comes back to our highly paid non-performers which we seem to be stuck with

By the sounds of it Roberts will be coming at around $150k.

Just rewatched the game and Grant spent most of the last 15 minutes walking. Could've lost the game with the penalty he gave away which should've been a sin bin.
Most of his problem is that he doesn't manage his energy. He follows the ball like a school kid, confusing his fellow defenders and leaving holes.
This didn't come as a surprise as it's what he did for Wests.
More than happy to have Liddle instead of him

I’ve noticed grant exerts a lot of unnecessary energy like the stuff you mentioned. Over excitement, just a ball of energy. If he had one flaw, that would be it, but it’s not overly concerning imo and can be addressed easily

That helps for sure if his head is on straight but low risk at those dollars

$850k for two others (assuming Seyfarth gets done)

Make Munster the first 2m a year player. Worth a shot.
Bit of temptation there.
Same monetary value roughly as Packer and Reynolds. Couldn't be any worse

Or sign Bennett. No doubting his credentials after last night for some of the naysayers.
We have to do something to be competitive in a saturated Sydney market

When is munster off contract

With the comment Munster made after Origin last night... I wouldn't be holding our breathe about Munster signing here unfortunately.

I don’t disagree that Munster won’t be here but not off the back of the comment last nights, was cheeky only, not a dig.....”he’s staying at the storm, unlucky tigers” ..... not really a burn.

Bennett is hit and miss. He did nothing with Newcastle. And his coaching of England was terrible, some of the most bizarre selections I can remember in any test football side.

Can’t be realistic around here mate . If you point out a few things , like his service isn’t amazing , and he doesn’t have any ruck deception you get shouted down . Amazing player , and I’m sorry to see him go , but he does have holes in his game

He's a great individual player that's for sure, but like Farah at times he can overplay his hand and get in the way of the halves.

That said, I wish we could keep him as he's an asset.

We are hamstrung for a year or two. It's changing.

This is a concern. I think this was extremely detrimental to Robbie during his career. He could have been a great player rather than a very good player.

Grant still has his career in front of him. It'll be interesting how he goes.

Only if we don't blow it on the wrong players again.

I agree. I'm not pessimistic on the club at the moment mainly because we have been targeting the right players. We also haven't gotten really bad contracts on our book since Madge took over. I think the worst signing has been BJ and he can be let go next season.

Mmm? Contract year with his little brother in the team?
It’s make or break season.

Has there been any news on Burton?
