Had a sneak peak at the Manly forum for interest sake and not a single thing mentioned of this so it's possibly come from a speculating Tigers fan that's attempting to throw out possible player swap ideas for Aloiai.

I don't know, I'm not sold on this swap should it be a real potential possibility.

To let Aloiai go, I'd want better. He has damaged this club, and though a player swap may be part of the deal, I'd demand from him to make up his behaviour before we let him go. Sit him down and tell him he will remain here, that there will be no swap, he remains here with his former mates (because they all look down on him now), until his attitude changes and he makes up for his rubbish. Then, and only then, we may consider a swap.

If Aloiai doesn't want to be here, well telling him to report to work on 30 November isn't going to change that.........so I think we need to do a swap, assuming that the person that ends up in the swap deal wants to be here !!!!!!

No thanks, he is a downhill skier.

Doesn't run good lines or run hard, avoids any dirty work and injury prone. His father has also had a bit to say about our club.

Would prefer Keppie, Titmuss or Olakau'atu

Have to disagree .. he has put in at Manly and would be great next to LL.
If his father wants to say anything about the club then good on him.

What did big Sirro say, I’ve seen him be critical of Curtis for his attitude at the Tigers

True. I think a swap is important. For me it's most important in all this for us to be strong and stop this from happening again. Not the player wanting to leave, that's fine, but the player treating us poorly publicly.

If Josh wants to leave so desperately it's up to his manager to work with Manly to find a suitable trade. Or we cherry pick and say these players are acceptable, let us know who you give us permission to talk to and once a deal is done we'll release Josh.

I would have agreed two years ago. Played 40 games in that time, now averaging over 100m with the ball. I reckon I saw him 10 times this year and he was pretty damn good in 7 of those games.

It's all coming together. I'm sure the apologies to club management will be overflowing on here when Wests have a great year.

so with today's news where does this leave Moses M'Bye. Captain of the club but becoming increasingly difficult to find the bloke a spot. potentially at fullback but if we get Laurie a year early then you'd think he'll lock the 1 up.

I like the fact they’re doing club options in a lot of our deals now. Joey, Tamou and Jimmy the Jet all have club options

Great way to make sure you’re not stuck with someone who’s not first grade level anymore and also incentivises a player to train and play better. Smart stuff from the club

He’d be a great 14

Overpaid 14. Would love to see him renegotiate his deal and free up some room to sign a good young second rower.

Hopefully he spends the season playing for the Magpies, but I doubt it. He must have pictures of Madge in a compromising position.
