I can’t see it being Mbye. My pick would be Tamou.

I don't think it'll be Josh like some may have liked at some stage.

BJ is going to have enormous pressure on him to perform with all the right centre options we have.

Sounds like we’re going to have more centres playing wing again this year with Kei, Hoffman, Talau, Momo, AJ, BJ all best in the centres.

Or sign Bennett. No doubting his credentials after last night for some of the naysayers.
We have to do something to be competitive in a saturated Sydney market

Bennett is hit and miss. He did nothing with Newcastle. And his coaching of England was terrible, some of the most bizarre selections I can remember in any test football side.

Anything better than ninth is a win for us

Well we're going to be premiers next year under Madge so it's all good.

Kei and Hoffman won’t be playing NRL this year as they are on development contracts , and as you said due to depth . I can’t see either getting a run . BJ is the one . He’s going to have to put in this year , as really it’s a contract year for him. Especially with Kei and Hoffman waiting in the wings

BJ has copped a lot of flack on here but what people forget is that he joined very late in the pre season as fat as a house. I think he'll be back tothe old BJ next season.

On a plus side. That’s two indigenous players that we have managed to attract to our club now.

Who’s the second ?

If Tamou was good enough for minor premiers, he should be good enough for us. However, it's about whether it suits the current squad or not

Well a month ago I might have suggested Aloiai. I think it’s too early to tell. Tamou should be favourite though.

My grapevine is saying da Doogies have landed not only **Matt Burton**, but **Bwandon Smith** as well:rage: :rage:

Pweez don't do it Bwandon

Plus he needs to impress the club so they take up his club option

Tamou and Mbye will be co-captains. Funny how everyone was calling for Aloiai to be captain after he came to Erin Molan’s defence.

The daily telegraph - Michael Carayannis

Wests Tigers are also considering making a play for a Curtis Sironen homecoming as part of a potential swap deal between Manly and Sironen’s former club.

The move could mean Sironen returns to the Tigers which would allow disgruntled prop Josh Aloiai to switch to the Sea Eagles immediately. The Tigers are steadfast in their belief they will not release Aloiai unless they find a suitable replacement and expect him back at training on November 30.

Tigers back-rower Luke Garner could also be part of any trade deal although Tigers officials are adamant he will fulfil the final two years of his deal.

Sironen is off-contract at the end of next year and it is understood the Sea Eagles would consider an opportunity for the 27-year-old to return to the Tigers on a long-term deal.

The Sironen name is synonymous with the Tigers after Curtis’s dad Paul was a star at the club in the 1980s and 1990s.

Agreed. And I'm not defending it, but his brain snap that led to his suspension and people calling him our 'worst signing' was the result of a dog shot on his brother.

Stupidity, but maintain my thoughts on the day that he should have been removed from the field and it was obviously so.

He wasn’t as bad as made out, the brain snaps were terrible but aside from that when he was in the side he had a big part in Nofa’s best ever season.

As long as Brooks is our 7 we'll do diddly squat.

Mark my words, nothing will change with this team until Brooks is gone, pitty it's going to take so long to realise it.

I think he's okay, we just need a better half beside him. Better than Brooks I mean. Brooks I think would make a good support half.

I for one am prepared to give Brooks another one to twelve years to prove he can lead

Brooks is one part of the combination. I like what I see from Madden and the reports that he is bigger now gives me a belief he will be ready for the NRL. . He looks a great little organiser with a step, good at getting repeat sets and a nice pass'
