Is there a Marquee signing anyone would be interested in? Or are we maybe just keen to see how things go for the time being

If a quality player comes on the market in the right position at the right dollars we should make an offer. I'd rather though take our time and not make any poor decisions than stuff our cap up.

Justin Olam took time to develop too. He’s 26 and just had his breakout year. With the limited training over there it takes these guys longer to adjust to NRL, but being with Souths already Gebbie shouldn’t take much longer

Olm late development mainly due to being in png most the time can’t compare to the development Australian’s get.

We need a scout in PNG. There are many outstanding athletes in PNG just waiting to be discovered by WTs.

The rule has changed now and you can keep 2 spaces free.

Who knows though, I don't think they ever announced the squads would be staying at 30 either.

Havent heard anything about it since like september-ish, but yea looking back at articles Abdo did seem certain a 10% shave was coming off. I’m assuming if it does all players would just equally burden that proportionate to their contracts?

I'm guessing that part as well but think that may happen, unless the higher earners offer to take a bigger hit to help out the guys on lower wages.

The NRL was talking reduction of squad sizes at one point but never announced anything at all about them staying at 30.

I know changes have been made to the dates of certain squad requirements and that you can stay at 28 till at least June 30, possibly all season, @geo knows the answer to that as he has a better understanding of those dates than I do.
