WHY need another has been winger? We need a second rower and a prop? That should be the priority

I would say the Mansour talk is just trying not to burn bridges incase Nofo deal falls through. I don't think we have any intentions in Mansour once he resigns which most people believe he's close to.

How do we need a prop when we have Tamou, Ofahengaue, Musgrove, Twal, Mikaele, Utoikamanu and Packer? We are well stocked there and do not need to tie up any more cap space in props at this time. 2nd row sure, we need some depth and quality there.

One of my mates talked to Mansour in person and asked if he’d join the tigers. Obviously Mansour might not be open to fully discussing his plans but he said he won’t be coming to tigers, at this point more likely to stay at Penrith

As with everything in footy, things could change in the matter of 24 hours so don’t take it as gospel 😂

My Signing Hopefuls:

1. The Cheese, 3 year deal for 600k a year. But I doubt Storm would release with out a player swap. Put the Dogs front runners who might swap Napa

2. Widdop, I know his age and injuries. Can cover Fullback and 5/8. I would play him at Fullback, doesn’t really have to defend which is good for his shoulders. Great kicking game and can kick goals. Also if Douhei fails at 5/8(I hope he doesn’t) we have options. Mbye back to 1 and Widdop 6. Only offer a 1 year deal for 300k

3. Scott Sorensen, depth back rower who could nearly get a starting position depending on how Garner goes. 2 year deal for 200k

You think the Storm would want Napa? lol They want a quality replacement. Same thing rules us out, we don't have anyone they'd want.

Heard on SEN that STORM want the big second rower back( can't think of his name) that signed for the TITANS if the CHEESE is going to the TITANS

Titans signed him heaps early in the season when he was barely rated. Melbourne probably gutted in the end losing him seeing him carve up towards the back end lol

He was highly rated early in the season and has been for some time, the Titans just threw money at him that the Storm couldn't (or wouldn't) match. Barely rated forwards don't get contracts worth north of $600K per season.

Tino got a 750k a year contract after playing 5 or 6 games the year before. Titans took a punt and looks like it’s paid off. Still think they’d be a bit worried he follows the trend of players that leave Melbourne and go on to be average.

Adam Blair rings a bell. Gun while at Melb, comes to Tigers and was terrible.



Sheens was as much at fault as Blair was,Tim tried to change the way Blair played and it wasnt using his strengths

Exactly, I have said it many times, Blair was good at Brisbane and the Warriors too. He wasn’t as bad here as a lot of people made out, but he was poorly used by Sheens, but he missed no games whilst here

He definitely wasn’t good at either of those teams. Maybe one decent year at Brisbane but that’s it. Every Brisbane and warriors supporter I know and I know a few, couldn’t wait to see the back of him

We will have to disagree on that then, I watch nearly every game every week, and I have a different opinion

I think going into the season with Kepoa as our first choice left winger is very risky. There are currently a lot of holes in his game.

I’m not a Mansour fan but we need some more depth in that position. All our other outside backs are centres, even Kepoa is apparently a centre.

I am hoping Roberts might be considered as a wing option, which helps the issue somewhat.

I think the only reason we have not signed him is because we won't pay overs for players anymore..
He is on great coin next year and has the right to hang around and collect that coin so unless Panthers contribute and he accepts a pay cut I don't see him coming.
For me unless it was on the cheap side i would rather put the money to attracting a big named player in his prime but will trust the recruitment team as they have done wonders this off season.

Does anyone have any ideas on what the recent signings are on?

Tamou 2021-22 $350k per season? any option? club/player
James Roberts 2021-22 $200k per season? any option? club/player
Joe O 2021-23 $500k per season (Broncs pay $200k in 2021 & 2022?) any option? club/player

Also on Josh Reynolds, I'm assuming he was on $750k for 2021 but that we will pay $250k leaving an additional $500k onto our cap

Assuming that was all correct (which I know it won't be) I have us with cap space of $1.375m with 3 spots open

Welcome any info anyone might have to help these estimates

Pretty bang on, mate, I thought Tamou was closer to 400k first year. 360-75 year two... Jimmy is a club option in the second year and Broncs more likely chipping in 175k for Joe O.
