If we even out the pinnacles and troughs In our performances, we are a chance of making the 8.

Agreed. And we seemed to do that in last few months. If we had parras run in we finish a lot higher.

Warriors or souffs will get the spoon next year imo

I'll be shocked if the knights move out of the bottom 4\. They get way, way too much praise for a team that's finished last 3 years in a row. The only guy they've signed for next year who is a regular starter for his NRL side is Moga and he's had 3 knee recos in the past 6 years. Guerra is a dud, Ese is a bench prop and the 2 kids they've signed look ok but they're currently playing in gun sides choc full of Internationals.

We won't get near the spoon. We have heaps of depth and our coach is a proven success.

Since origin Guerra has been the roosters best forward, and Ese looks good, Watson also.

I think Newcastle will be good next year. Guerra looks awesome in the Roosters pack. Watson looks good. Maybe they won't come on that much as they've lost Gagai but I really think the comp is open next year.

Yeah too many people wrote Guerra off because he had a bit of a form slump early in the year, but I knew he would bounce back. I wished we had signed him.

Souths will struggle next year, Titans and Warriors too.

My money though is on the Bulldogs to have a very tough year, resulting in Haslers sacking.

Tigers will come 6th or 7th.

Hush, Hush
We know of at least three NRL clubs keen on Greg Bird if he returns to Australia. Watch this space! Via foxsports.
Doubt we would be one of the three… I could be wrong though...

We already have ET, Eiso, McQueen, Rowdy, Aloiai, Marsters, Rochow fighting for spots in the second row/lock area. It would be a colosall wast of money to go after Bird. I'd say the Roosters, maybe Titans and Souths would be the 3 after him

God I hope not! I will have to quit supporting rugby league if we end signing Bird. Im still trying to get used to the thought of having Packer and Reynolds in our colours!

i think some on here really got to stop this crap about we dont want this player or that player because he done this or that, IF THE NRL are going to register them and they are what we need then so be it, iam sick of only having players who have no mongrel, bird is just what we need, he is a thug but he is what we need.

Totally disagree - I'm sick of people saying that they want mongrel. However alot of people are confusing mongrel with thugs. They are totally different.

Being tough on the football field with smashing tackles, giving and asking no quarter is the mongrel we want.

We don't need thugs that beat up women, push drugs, glass people etc.

The club has a reputation to live up to, so do the players that sign with us. Unfortunately the thugs have an undesirable reputation. Maybe the NRL register some of these players but maybe they should look at the NRL's reputation and what type of player they want in Rugby League.

well while they register them iam happy to have them, rather than them beating us every other week.

Is it true that Ronnie Palmer has hopped on the bus?

What role does the nrl prostitue play in a club apart from show off his short shorts when he runs on the field carrying water bottles…

Anyone know who the four Parra players that are on minimal contracts?
I'd say Parra would be wanting to up these and get rid of Beau Scott.
Any low paid players there we should be targeting?

Agree on your first point, regarding if the NRL registering contracts. Disagree regarding Bird. He's too old. Packer will provide all the mongrel we need.
