Anyone know who the four Parra players that are on minimal contracts?
I'd say Parra would be wanting to up these and get rid of Beau Scott.
Any low paid players there we should be targeting?

Pure guess work, but I suspect French and Gutherson could be among them. Nathan Brown could be another. Assuming its true of course.

Both Gutherson and Brown went to parra on larger contracts. As much as i would like Brown back here he wont come cheap especially after the way he was treated

Nathan Brown has some bargaining power after his good form this year.

After the way he was treated at WT why would he come back.

His team is going ok and he would be on good dough with his new contract after 2017.

im drawing a blank here, how did the tigers treat Nathan Brown badly? we gave him a debut against the dragons, then he wasn't performing in the pre season so he was dropped to ISP for the rest of the year. that's how i remember it, what's changed?

I must admit I was wrong about Brown.. he got his head together coupled with his new found fitness and has come on as a tough and competitive 1st grader

Actually he should thank the club as the clubs actions rebooted him and this was exactly what he needed

And the Eels put the work on him and gave him a go in the NRL and he is now going real good.

I ask again - Why would he come back?

Souths booted him too .
Realised he was at the last chance hotel at Parra & decided that getting paid to play footy beats driving a forklift .

We paid for him to play at souths, souths payed for him to play at parra this year, he has come on in leaps and bounds so his actual salary cap money will need to be much greater from parra next year

Gutho would be a stellar buy for what he offers on the field, but he's done his knee what 3 times in 2 years? Fraught with danger.

I believe his best mate is Kyle Lovett, a player who copped so much flak (undeservedly) on this forum.

Tigers gave him his start. He's a Tigers junior, he debuted in FG for the Tigers, won a NYC premiership with the Tigers.

I agree with the others I don't recall anything we did wrong, in fact I wanted to keep him on when he was with us, but they decided otherwise half-way through his new contract. I suspect he didn't meet or wasn't in the plans of coach Taylor, as he was released that first year of Taylor's contract.

He's a completely different player to that idiot who got in a fight on the sideline with the Raiders in NYC.

I have a bent against Parra right now, Ive been death riding them solely because I have been hoping Moses crashed and burned, but I hope Brown stays at Parra. Obviously something they have done has brought him out and made him flourish and they should reap the rewards.

Would take Gutherson in a hearbeat

imo should play origin next year.

One of the most improved and underrated players in the game. He was Parra's best player this year by a country mile.

If he didn't get injured, he was a shot at the Dally M.

Who wouldn't take Gutherson?

We didn't do anything wrong with Brown, we just didn't pick him. He dropped down the pecking order and was a chubby, lazy bench prop and penalty magnet.

Not sure how many o his mates from nyc would still be at the club though.
