Staggs is a decent player but if he wants 800k i wouldnt even make an offer

I dont know anything about insiderman first time id seen his name when he was linked with Isako to us. I have no idea on how bang on he is are you saying he's fairly accurate?

The Broncos already have a full squad as well as Levi on a second tier contract. Isaako is not leaving, Staggs is only looking for a 1 year deal so it ties in with the expansion team.

Only seen junior rep footage playing for NSW and CC footage from 2019 and he looked real good. Fast and solid kicking game.

I wouldn't say real good. He show's promise but makes too many poor decisions. His kicking game is below the needed standard and he was a liability in defence. He's raw but with work could be something. He needs another year playing for the Magpies.

No one's saying he's perfect but most young halfbacks aren't even playing NSW cup for another couple of years. He's also a lot bigger. Defence is about attitude, and his attitude in defence was always good, he was just smaller than the grown men he was playing against. He's filled out more now and can hold his own.

Radley takes down players with 20kgs on him due to attitude and technique. And in any case all young halves miss tackles.

Staggs is a decent player but if he wants 800k i wouldnt even make an offer

Best centre in the game (along with Manu)until he got injured.
We were/are paying each of Jrey/Packer/Mbye that sort of $$ and they had nowhere near the strike power of Staggs,and his defence is fine
....btw 31yo Joey is on close to $600(maybe more)and with his contract ending this season Id do almost a clean swap for Staggs in an absolute heartbeat at season end

If Madge doesnt get ruthless on overpaid underperformers,as a 3rd year coach it will HE who is in the firing line in 2021 regardless of what his contract says

Who dismissed him?
The kid has talent, but on what he's shown so far he's nowhere near ready for NRL.
It's not a matter of falling off tackles, it's that he doesn't have the development of skills in both attack and defence (on what he's shown) to run an NRL team.
Now that's reality.

Mbyes comments on Brooks i think are closer to the truth.We had a poor roster all over the park,and we had bought a couple of ordinary players.The 1,6,7,and 9 depend a lot on each others games,and a forward pack denting the line.The absence of a decent FB and mismatched halves hurt us.Taking all these things into account it is illogical to single out one player,when so many around him were poor.
We have a good side this year and i expect Brooks to excell,if not then you can cast your stones.

Absolutely sleeve. One of the first things Madge did was lock in Brooks, then he has progressively developed a team around him that he can work with. Brooks has been patient.
