Tigers after Brent Naden for this year, likely to play on the wing according to Chammas

Oh boy. No doubt this kid has talent but I really question his head space and whether Madge can bring him in line.

Similar to Roberts although not as bad I think. Hopefully with the indigenous program we have, Badger, Tahu and the other indigenous boys they could look after him like they have Jimmy the Jet.

Would be surprised if Penrith released him, they've shown they won't give anyone away for free.

Naden would be a good pickup. We need a winger desperately.

You'd play Naden in the centres with Talau on the wing surely.

I think I’d play Naden on wing. He’s tall, pretty fast and

The Cini kid was impressive for the Magpies yesterday.
I've been underwhelmed by his other performances but yesterday he really looked full of confidence at fullback.

Well Naden is good for finding the line or a line

Naden would fix our wing issue

I like Kepaoa, I think he has potential, but if we could get Naden that would be great. Kepaoa needs to learn his trade in Res grade.

The new rules are great but with the most lopsided competition in years the NRL should do away with the salary cap it’s not working at all.

It'd be worse than what it is now. If they implemented a draft system that might help.

I doubt if he will ever have a draft system in RL because of the legal ruling(Terry Hill) that it was a restraint of trade. The only reason it is still legal in AFL is that none of the mincing fairies who play the game dont have the gonads to take it to court

That was 30 years ago - the NRL didn't even exist when that case took place. As a point of law it would probably still stand but the game and the business has dramatically changed in that time. These days with the NRL providing all clubs with the salary cap money to contract players there would be a case to argue that the NRL should have more control over player movements.

J Reynolds MOTM in his debut super league match...could be a handy pick up

Give him 900K?

Personally I see nothing wrong with that at all

The players union has to agree.

Yea i understand that - to date all they have done is hold a gun at the NRL with threats of strikes etc. The system needs overhauling and the NRL should call the players union bluff. I'm sure all these overpaid players will be more than happy to strike for a couple of years and go on the dole.

AJ is just not handling the top grade. I try not to look back but I see how well Corey is doing at Titans and kinda wish he was still on our left wing.
