For those questioning his **commitment and attitude** after reading what his current bosses at Wigan said about him then here's some quotes from the Salford coach and management...
So let me get this straight ... you’re confirming his commitment by his tenure at 2 super league clubs
... one he left after one and a half seasons, and the other after signing an NRL contract midway through his 2nd club?
Yep sounds really committed to me.
What was your favourite fairy tale to read as a kid?
I'm all for people having an issue with the signing, but your argument here isn't really sensible. He signed a half year contract with Salford, then he signed for a further year. He was a free agent when he left to go to Wigan and he's playing out his contract there before moving here. He hasn't asked for an early release and has committed to see out his contract. So your issue with him is that he saw out his contract and then moved somewhere else?
Additionally, he signed with Wigan mid year at Salford and then went on to be their best player and win Man of Steel. There hasn't been a word about his lack of commitment in the UK except for people on this forum, which tbh seems pretty agenda driven.
So you don’t find it concerning that he hasn’t committed to any of his clubs for longer than 2 years?
Theres a difference between signing a long contract with a club and committing to one imo. From the outside looking in it seems he's had 100% commitment wherever he's played no matter the duration. Gave his all for Salford, raised them from being dumped as a club to grand finalists. Then once his contract was up went to Wigan and helped get them to another gf. An example of non commitment to a club you'd look at Bryce Cartwright at the titans or Milford currently at the Broncos.
I agree to an extent but I don’t believe commitment should be highlighted as one of his traits as that bloke I quoted pointed out
