I understand but I really don't know the answer as we desperately need some hard nose players as we are a weak minded team. I don't like paying overs for players but I think we need to just get the ball rolling and make us look attractive to players.. We have a lot of cap space coming up and if you look at the top teams they all have a few top line players that other want to play with.. We have nothing like that or even close to a superstar

No i agree with you on that i do even think for the right player we will need to pay overs we will have to they wont come otherwise. But anyone for the sake of it as long as they are willing i wouldnt like to see that as i said i agree with what you said maybe i mistook what you meant but we seem to be along the same line of thinking anyway.

If only football was like the NFL or NBA where as the teams decide where the players went and the top players don't always go to the teams in the top brackets of the comp but we all know it's never be the case.

Noffa and Thompson on the wings would've been the smallest and shortest wing pairing of all time. Unfortunately, we picked the wrong winger at the time for a 4 year contract.

Hardly . It’s an indictment on the game , and shouldn’t be something that’s celebrated . Penrith are just perfectly geographically located , it’s not like they went into Nigeria and developed these kids from nothing . They are the district for which a vast majority of Polynesian expats live . Sure they found a way to maximise that , but come on !
I’m such an advocate for the draft , and I disagree completely that “we shouldn’t punish development teams”. There’s only a finite amount of districts and players who are playing the game , let alone genetically suitable to play the game .
Anyways just my opinion .

Penrith is also closest to the Central West where Staines (Parkes), Burton (Dubbo), Yeo (Dubbo) plus Martin - Riverina (Temora) originate from.

Pascoe was behind the Panthers playing a home game in Bathurst and they set up do a lot of coaching in those Central West cities.
This is what WT are trying to tap into Tamworth and nearby cities.


Yeah they bought a club in Bathurst....

They actually put their own manager in the Leagues Club who sent it broke, then they just walked in and took over the club.
