What is everyone's obsession with measuring a winger on the amount of metres they make? That's merely one of many qualities they need, and definitely not in the top 5 key positional traits.

Wingers in the modern game do more! Running meters are one of the most important stats to look at. They are used for dirty runs! Help out the forwards. Finishing and defence round out the top 3 traits that are probably the most important aspect of a winger. Obviously safe hands.

Pace is definitely important but I think he's talking about specifically being fast over 100 metre, really doesn't get used much. Being fast over about 40 metres is what's important, pure acceleration. That's what makes JAC, Saab and Roberts so dangerous they go from 0 to top speed in an instant

I know you have high hopes in sheens but at the end of the day madge and hartigan are still the blokes in charge and running the footy team - sheens sounds like he will be around for them to get advice off

You don't bring one of the most knowledgeable and innovative minds to the club not to use him. Maguire could definitely use his knowledge and innovation.

The Mole reporting we've been approached about signing Mitchell Pearce, which is probably true, but I sincerely doubt we sign him. We've got three halfbacks signed up for next year already and he's rubbish. He wants a two year deal as well

He is old and carries baggage. He was also punted by Roosters because he could not lead them to a Premiership. Stay away please.

I didn't say he won't be used, he just won't be running the joint. Madge and Hartigan still have all the control, him being around for extra help and guidance will be good though.

I think people underestimate the importance of the backs working it out from our end. KM will be more effective than most of our players getting us upfield early. It changes the dynamics of the game - field position, forward work rate, options etc.

He is a liability in defense but so is DWZ & Issako, most wingers are.

Will be interesting as to what this means for JTJ, TT, AJ & AD once he joins.

100% this is the sole reason brian to o got picked in origin his yardage is just insane


Are you saying if Nofa increased his run metres by 45% he would have got selected?

All he has to do is stop running sideways. 70% of his runs are sideway metres.

I think it would have been very hard not knowing if you were going back home or not with COVID. With him signing with us (hopefully) he would know he’s now full time in Sydney and would move his family over .

Roger Fabri is the premier sprint coach in Australia, coaches olympic printers, JAC and JTJ.

He says that JAC is the fastest he has ever personally seen over 100, JTJ much faster over 40m

I can't see how that would be possible, he'll have to permanently relocate to Sydney.

Considering the Warriors have been in the bubble in Aus for a year now I can't see that being a problem.

I'm sure we'll support Ken and his family to transition seamlessly.

JAC got monstered in origin. TO’o not as fast but so much stronger and putting the blues on the front foot. Hopefully ken will do that for us.

Please no to Pearce.
Brooks is just starting to get into his groove and still has alot more upside to go. He is now our dominant half and unless we plan to get rid of him then getting another dominant half wouldn’t add value especially at his price tag. Prefer to spend the cash on Forwards.

We’ll see how that “groove” goes this weekend and over the next few weeks. I want Brooks to succeed but he’s had more false dawns than a Disney cartoon.

Pearce I’m not sure on. Newcastle look a shell of a team without him and Ponga. He’s a great organiser and competitor. I’d be very concerned about his durability these days.

Only young, time reserves to develop could be the best thing for him.
