Be great for members & fans to hear some juniors signing news too given the club’s focus on junior pathways. Even that news gives us all hope & knowledge that recruitment is moving ahead.

On the subject, James Hooper mentioned in his blog we have lost promising junior Jaxson Rahme. This kid was an emerging SG Ball Tigers prop & dominated at the recent NSW school carnival. Very disappointing if true.

But I thought there was a strategy! Yeh right !!

We’ve had new contracts on the table for Mikaele and Seafarth for a few weeks now according to Pom and all I can hear is crickets.

Our style is they’ll take offers from other clubs although Seafarth’s injury may change his mind.

We can’t sign any outsiders and we’ll lose those we want to keep. It’s ongoing.

Mikaele has done nothing, happy for him to walk.

Maybe, there just footballers who will decide on contracts once the season is finished, and just for now concentrate on football. Simple enough.

If they are playing him as their starting fullback and are still set to loose him, I’d say they have someone else in mind and are not prepared to offer what he would like to retain him.
So if his not worth a starting spot at the Broncos I say no.

Apparently it's all down to salary cap restraints. He's a good player, their plan was to move him to centre which is where I would play him for us.

Manu is THE most classy centre for years. If we don't make a massive play then we must be led be friggin morons.

The tigers have had discussions this is not new, he is still under contract & had been given permission to explore his options as he wants to play fullback there is still a lot to play out especially with the talent coming onto the market next year,I don’t think the Tigers are being led by morons as they are having the right discussions but just not closing the deal.

Ogden has shown a lot of promise from what I have seen of him. Hopefully has earnt himself a development contract next season.

Let Ogden play a good chunk of reserve grade first. Rushing rookies in often leads to disaster, they have to get used to playing against men and growing physically. Ogden for sure is one to persist with though, maybe a development deal for him
