Reports out tonight that Broncos could lose Tesi Niu. I'd sign him up to play centre and be a backup fullback.

One week to fill our top 30 squad. With Mbye potentially leaving, who will fill the holes?

1 spot can be taken by upgrading Kelma Tuiagi to the Top 30 squad this season (seems an easy decision given he goes into Top 30 squad next season anyway). If Mbye goes, we'll have another spot to fill. Sironen? HSS? Or fallback option could be Reece Hoffman (for same reason as Tuilagi).

Maybe team selection tomorrow will give an indication if Tuilagi & Hoffman come in 😉

Tuilagi would have to be a good chance at debuting this week right?

Add Naden, Dufty and almost certainly Vaughan to the Dogs as well, and they beat us to signing about 4 of those

Addo Carr and Burton are good. Naden ,Dufty,pangai and Vaughn will be a nightmare for the Bulldogs together. Imagine the parties haha

I'm hoping you mean sign with the Dogs... if you meant here, imo that would certainly be a mistake.

If he couldn't get his act together in Melbourne and Canberra away from the limelight, (and during covid times,) he's got buckley;s of keeping out of trouble in Sydney with the increased media scrutiny.

Be great for members & fans to hear some juniors signing news too given the club’s focus on junior pathways. Even that news gives us all hope & knowledge that recruitment is moving ahead.

On the subject, James Hooper mentioned in his blog we have lost promising junior Jaxson Rahme. This kid was an emerging SG Ball Tigers prop & dominated at the recent NSW school carnival. Very disappointing if true.

But I thought there was a strategy! Yeh right !!

Mate, you've never heard of the bloke, let alone seen him play and you're into the recruitment team for not keeping him. Typical of half a dozen experts in here.

Well the good news is we are now going to retain everyone in the juniors forever, we just have to find a way to fit 60 players into the Top 30.

We snapped up that other prop and Saukuru brothers . Maybe he saw limited game time here , as those boys were all nsw/ nz / aus squad players .
Seriously why even follow the club ?

These posts annoy me. You don’t know how much Snake or other fans have invested in the club, both financially and with their time. Just because someone has a differing view of how the club is going doesn’t make them less of a supporter.

They only annoy you because they invalidate your own world view , and undermine your position .
I’m not saying blindly follow the club , but when he says things like “I thought there was a strategy , yea right “ , how is that a differing opinion ? It’s nothing of the sort . Is negativity for negativity’s sake .
If 1 kid who has above average talent , not elite talent , above average , leaves, it doesn’t undermine the whole idea of building . Nor does signing some gun player either .
A series of elite juniors leaving or signing , along with pathway degradation , or improvement may , or may not .
It’s series of events that leads a pathway to what may lie in the future .
And outside of a really poor first grade , which sux , it’s mind boggling , but anyways , we have won at all junior levels , signed smart people, brought back Tim sheens , along with Kimmorley , and continue to sign elite juniors .
The law of averages says this strategy will work, it just takes time , and patience . Something guys like you and snake , have zero time for .
For me , it’s been ten years , what’s another one .
Because I’d much rather sustained success , than 1 or 2 good years then not much.
