How can they have 4 million dollar players and we have none but they have more cap room than us?

Pretty obvious to everyone now it's TPAs? The base salaries are probably modest, with a large external top-up from TPAs that are somehow consistently allied with the Roosters players but still somehow at arm's length from the club.

Who is Crichton's manager? One of those still under investigation for illegal deals at Melbourne and Parramatta.
Hell will freeze over before the NRL do anything proactive around cheating the cap.
Next club caught should be forced to pay the players full value, while they are stood down from playing for the length of the contract

Regarding Roosters - It all stinks - but I don’t think they are building an unbeatable team.

Solid yes, but guaranteed success - I’m not convinced. For example, Cronk without Smith/Slater is pretty much untested.

Crichton has had one decent season (not disputing he’s a good player).

Tedesco was keen on staying too.

I never heard Tedesco say I want to stay and be a 1 club player though.

There were articles posted around January of him being quoted as saying he hoped he could work something out with us.

Of course, you always need a Plan B.

Yes at arms length from the club, but somehow never follow the players when they leave. One of lifes great mysteries :laughing:
