I do not think he is a bad player and is a solid member of a forward pack at the right price.

I think we need some aggression up front. Napa better fits the bill, but he has not played well for 3 years.

Don’t like Woods or Napa. Stick to the youth policy. Heard we are after Franklin Pele from the Sharks. Big, aggressive and mobile. That’s who we need to target.

Woods is past it. He's not an Origin/Aus rep, he's a past Origin/Aus rep.
It'd be exactly like Tamou, not great, not good, maybe okay.

There's no upside to it. What would he demonstrate to the youth coming through? Great training habits? He was never known for that. The only thing his appointment would teach our younger players coming through is that players in their twilight of their career and who are now playing below their best are welcome at the Wests Tigers.

It's a definite NO from me. Woods is the perfect example of what we don't need any more of. Spend the same money on a young, hungry prop with some aggression that wants to get somewhere in his career,not a slow plodder that's happy to be still playing NRL and will start whining and whingeing when things are tough at training or in a game.

I wonder if there is any chance at all that Lomax is open to leaving the Dragons - if so I hope we are exploring it because I believe he would be a real leader in our backline. I'd throw plenty at him if he was even a small chance of coming to us.

I agree 100% Recruitment has lost the plot talking to him. We never learn from our past mistakes, buying rejects past their prime even at bargain prices. Look how far that has got us this season. I just shake my head in disbelief.

I see it two ways.

Woods is a traitor dog that talked crap about our club during dark times and never stuck around in the end.

Then I see if we get him for 150-200K, he’d do more of a job then a few boys in the squad do now to “repay” us.

I think it's convenient that Woods says he wants to come home then an hour later an article says the club is thinking about it... smells like rubbish to me
