I would be signing Junior Paulo and Frank Pele now. Imagine those two guys coming after you one after the other. That will get the forwards moving. Get rid of Tamou and his literally Joker size mouth. Pathetic player and leader.

Really happy that there are rumblings going on for established players and highly rated youth in the background ,like hearing about talks going on and cant wait for some announcements.

Who knows if any of it is true

Chee Kam hasn’t been offered a new deal & one won’t be forthcoming.
He’s not in the clubs plans for 2022 period.

Thanks Pom - much appreciated.

Do you know if the noise about Aaron Woods is true. I am of the understanding the Zac Lomax is just rumour and nothing more

Woods discussion is very early & just a gage to see if any interest in returning, nothing concrete & no offer put forward.

Nothing said or mentioned internally from the club about Lomax.

Waiting to hear back from Egan Butchers management.

Cheers mate.

Any update on Mbye to Dragons for 2022 ?

Purely down to financials, club willing to pitch in 400k.

any junior goss,

Israel Ogden having a discussion with the club this week.
Club also looking to poach a young forward from the
Dragons Shalom O’ofou

https://youtu.be/iWR7upYabBQ

Looks very promising, good leg speed, power and footwork - what's not to like.
(And he sure gave it to the Wests Tigers team he played!)

He's the type you want to poach.

I can’t believe how little talk there is about Moses Leota. He is quietly going about his business in a top 2 team.
His front row partner just got extended for 4 extra years and is in an off contract list with Api Korisou, Dylan Edwards and Villiame Kikau all of which I would say are probably a higher priority to be resigned!

(And he sure gave it to the Wests Tigers team he played!)

Don't recall if I've ever seen him play but that's one on the worst highlight reels I've seen. Considering its probably sg ball and Flegg combined I'm not sure he made a single line break.
If he's that good surely he could bust open a flimsy Flegg defence? Maybe there wasn't much footage to work from, not writing him off but Compare this to Mavoni's much hyped Flegg preseason trial highlights video and it makes Tuifua look like Taumololo

TIGERS SET TO MAKE PLAY FOR KNIGHTS UTILITY

The Tigers are reportedly interested in signing Knights utility Connor Watson as a replacement for the Dragons bound Moses Mbye.

The Australian’s Brent Read reported on Triple M that while the Knights are still the frontrunners for Watson’s signature, the Tigers are set to make a play for his services.

“The Knights had a meeting with Connor Watson scheduled for last week and that meeting went ahead with Newcastle about his future,” Read said on Triple M.

“He is off-contract at the end of this year and the Knights are confident they will keep him, but they are bracing for other clubs to come in for him.

“The club they think is going to make a move for Connor Watson is the Wests Tigers and the reason for that is Moses Mbye is currently at the Wests Tigers filling that utility role.

“He is headed to the Dragons next year and the Knights thought whichever club didn’t have Moses Mbye next year would make a play for Connor Watson out of the Tigers and the Dragons.

“It is going to the be Tigers. The Knights are still confident they will keep Watson, but they are concerned.

“They are looking over their shoulders and they expect the Tigers to make a move sooner rather than later for Connor Watson.

“He is an important player for the Knights and a very popular member of the squad. He is close to Kalyn Ponga because they live together.”

The 25-year-old has scored 23 tries in 98 games for the Roosters and Knights since his debut back in 2016.

TIGERS TIPPED FOR OFF-SEASON SHAKE-UP IN BID TO LAND BIG NAME

The Tigers may look to offload Luke Brooks in the off-season in a bid to produce some money to spend in their salary cap.

The Australian’s Brent Read Rreported on Triple M that Moses Mbye is set to join the Dragons, but the Tigers will still have to pay a lot of his salary and the club wants to sign a big name desperately after missing out on Tevita Pangai Jr among other stars this season.

“The Tigers have got some money to spend and they have had a lash at a few players now and missed them,” Read said on Triple M.

“They need some sort of kill.

“Jackson Hastings can also play the utility role, depending on what happens with Luke Brooks at the end of the year.

“That is the big if what happens with Luke Brooks. I think at the end of the year they are going to have to make a decision about Luke Brooks on whether they keep him or let him go.

“Brooks has some value in the market place. You wouldn’t have to pay a lot of his wage, which is what they are going to have to do with Moses Mbye.

“He is going to the Dragons next year on around $450,000 and that leaves $400,000 left over that the Tigers are going to have to carry in their salary cap.

“You wouldn’t have that problem with Luke Brooks and it just feels like it is not working there.

“In the off-season I expect some change at the Wests Tigers. We see that already with Moses Mbye and Russell Packer will leave.

“They are the last of those big contracts that Madge inherited. They are the last two guys of that era.”

Just read that the Storm have offered a "MONSTER" deal to Brandon Smith in an attempt to keep him and ward off many suitors - the deal was $600K per season, didn't say how many years. In my view that is hardly a monster deal for him - I reckon he is worth $750K a season for 4 seasons at least, especially considering the value you get from him compared to the guys we've paid more for. He is one player I'd throw the cheque book at.

At the right price, i would happily put my grudge aside and welcome Woodsie back.

That grub should never put foot back into our colours after his half hour interview with pooper on Fox when he decided to leave our club. He bagged the s### out of us and he was our captain. After all this club gave him and he had the hide to bag us. Give me a junior any day over him.

We took Benji back

One of the clubs lower points.

Great news. he would fit the ball playing lock role perfectly. We could throw 1.1 at Ponga while we're at it
