We need a backup fullback and a centre more than anything. Talau could miss a lot of games and Doueihi is our only other option at fullback besides Laurie.

Find a young fullback in reserves somewhere who can cover the wing too if necessary.

Dillon is Papz 2.0
Should be treated and developed as such.

Tex Hoy isn't a first grader IMO.
He's not an ideal backup.

Hoy is dreadful under the high ball and his only real positive attribute is he's illusive with the ball. Hoy is notorious for colliding with his own team-mates as well.

What about Albert Hopoate as backup until Dillon is still developing.

Sione Hopoate is good too.

I almost think he's a Tedesco/Papenhuyzen hybrid. he looks a very very good prospect. he has the strength, pace and evasion required to return the ball and make things happen off attacking shapes, but I was just as excited by his long balls, even though they need some work. he has all the tools, just needs some refining. wouldn't surprise me if he moves Laurie to 6 or 14 in the next few years.

Don't forget the 'other' Hill - Kade (halfback) no slouch either. Both Hills were tryscoring machines and scored 4 tries between them in the first game of the season. See highlights from 0.15s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGDNQp7HMUg showing him backing up which he did consistently to have 8 tries when the season was halted.

He is eligible for Jersey Flegg again in 2022 but we need to look at bringing he and others into KOE more - very few got the opportunity consistently, if at all, with the shortened season and Magpies were going well - missed opportunity but the circumstances were against them.

If you want to believe the media. Which everyone seems to when it comes to Brooks, the club tried to initiate a trade with him and Mbye going down there and us getting Wighton, and the Raiders laughed at us. So that won’t be happening.

Holy hell that highlights package is amazing.
He looks like a competitor.
Not big but no fear.
Dummy half darts, hitups one off the ruck from his own end.
Footwork, passing game. Very exciting.
I know he is playing against kids but he looks every inch a future star. Very Paps like.

My comparison was between Dillon and Walsh. Both pocket rockets with good power and a good long ball. Probably that’s where the comparisons end though.
