Let’s hope the COE can sway a couple of players. I don’t believe it’s madge, we are training out of demountables with no real home ground…
Let’s be honest, we have never been a top 4 club for as long as we have existed, even our premiership we jagged really..
Sometimes you just have to sit back and realise that we are and always have been a club that prides itself on being battlers wether we like it or not.
Geographically we sit nowhere desirable, and yeah you can say the same for Penrith, but they have a great stadium and facilities across the road and aren’t torn between two foundation clubs.
Hopefully we can sort the home ground thing out, and therefore make us a tad more United after a while. I believe it’s one of our main issues in attracting players… no home ground causing non union in fan support. Hell I’ll back them to play out of lidcombe or Leichhardt if it ment being a real one fan base team… but it’s not… let’s not kid ourselves. Someone in the club just needs to rip off the bandaid and deal with the backlash for a couple of years. It will work. If you build it, they will come. Personally I think Campbelltown is the answer, plenty of space to expand what’s there with a train line and massive car park. But that’s just me.

I remain positive Hartigan and Sheens can work it to attract some really good young players and maybe a capable vet to improve the roster.

We will, but just so I’m clear. Recruiting players is dependent on Lifestyle, Progression, Familiarity, Style and in most cases which is the common factor is to be trained by and play under a certain coach.
But now there is a new category to play under a certain General Manager and Coaching Director.
