Is there a thread for injury and rehab progress for players like AJ, Talau and Laurie? Apologies if it’s in right under my nose. I just can’t find it.

The club hasn't issued anything in some time - I know Laurie will be right to commence pre-season at full tilt, and he'll need to if his social media is anything to go by. Apparently he's put on some pork. AJ should be running, just not sure whether he's doing any stepping yet, but post Christmas break he should be just about back to doing everything if his rehab has gone according to plan.

Jordan Hill was ahead of schedule with his ACL but the club dropped the ball with him. Mikey Tannous is another who got a taste of pre-season last year and should be close to running by November as his ACL was done in a pre-season trial match I believe.

Kepaoa imo has the makings of an outstanding centre three quarter. He has that mix of pace, power, step and a great pass left to right. He reminds me of some of the great All Black centres. I believe Sheens will add the polish to him to make him a fine centre for WTs.

With Elliott confirmed at the Raiders, I guess that means our next signing should be announced shortly

I don't think we announced Laurie's signing until late January...maybe February? Could be a few months still before we see something else develop. I hope not, but it wouldn't surprise me.

I just based that off the Raiders had cap issues, so to sign Elliott they would have to create space and logic tells me Hogo might be that space.

doubt Elliott will be on that much coin. Fogarty will be on less than what George Williams was, not to mention Soliola would've been on a decent wicket. the Raiders are a bit of a mystery, but I reckon they would've got Elliott for no more than $200k. the Hodgson dilemma has more to do with his and Ricky's relationship more than it does their cap situation.

I was never short of things to do in Canberra. There are lots of out of town public servants, especially young women, looking for a decent fellow to spend time with going out and having fun. I'd recommend it to young men and women alike.

As well as running, let’s hope A J includes catching in his rehab . I really hope he goes well but I was more than underwhelmed with his first stint with us .

I got hopes for AJ.

Very few players have great seasons first year back from a ACL. Getting back to the NRL level will be the first hurdle, but I think he has the potential to be a very good centre

Any chance of Mike Tannous getting a shot in first grade of KOE Cup with the Magpies? Or a developmental spot?

AJ was killing it in the centre’s the night he did his ACL.

The rest I doubted he was even a first grader...

It was one game, but just happened to be the last game he played, in the position that is supposedly his best position.

What did he do to “kill it” exactly? He made 3 tackles and missed 2 along with a total of zero line breaks and zero tries. Only 1 error though which is an improvement on the usual 3-4.
