Papali’i should be our starting prop with Big Stefano. Our best defensive forward, and has some decent plays in him ..
But Tamou will still start for no apparent reason.
Therefore, I really hope seyfarth doesn’t get lost in the shuffle. He was really good before that aloiai dog shot damaged his leg.

I've often wondered why thats the way things are?
Is it possible that the Chooks top brass have earned respect from Journos? Does our approach need some polish? We certainly seemed to have trodden on a few toes, run over a few cats, maybe? IDK, but I do know our relationship with the media could be better. Or is it as simple as us being fodder? Your Momirovski is a great example of our off field administrative / management style. It takes the wind out of our sales.

I think the media attention is more to do with our popularity. Tigers stories draw attention as does negative press. We are an immediate draw card because of late we offer both

Agree with Papalii & Paulo would be a good get for us. Mahoney an overrated I reckon.Simpkin will be a far better prospect , especially with the Great Farah giving him tips!

I've often wondered why thats the way things are?

Think it is as simple as players want to be at the Roosters so when the Roosters offer a fair contract they sign, whereas when Tigers offer a fair contract they wait and see if there are other clubs interested.

Im not knocking the Papali’i signing if it happens, but I am a lot more weary than some of you seem to be.

Breakout season in a solid pack after an unnoticeable time at the Warriors... seems a bit soon for 600k.

I was begging the tigers to sign him when the warriors were letting him go - the talent was there the whole time.

Yeah I thought he was a good get also.
But our recruitment brains just not on same page.
The mistakes they made over last few years far outweigh the gains that sor sure.

I think the Momo to Roosters situation is a little different. I’d say he was chafing at the bit to go back there at any deal so it would have been a pretty easy signing for the Roosters.
Granted though - when the Roosters want somebody they usually get their man. Obviously they are a desirable destination for many reasons that we simply can’t compete with at the moment.

I’d say the plan is to keep both. Give Parra Garner.

No way can they both fit in the 13. In the 17 possibly. Lucy could be a handy player coming off the bench in the second half. He's simply not fit enough and not good enough in defence to get paid more than 450k. He'd be a bench player for most other NRL clubs. No one will offer him the money he's asking for. The longer he waits the cheaper he gets.

He's on 450k next season. Papali'i on 200. Would be hard to get Isaiah for 2022, even if we sign him for 23.

Lucy can play 30 mins off the bench. Garner is a handy backup to play the mck role.

There’s no indication to me that we would get him for 2022. I’d say he’d still be in Parra’s plans. Being on 200k, there isn’t much upside for them to release him early. They won’t replace him with anyone at that price who would provide the same output.

I think people expecting anything to happen tomorrow will be disappointed... it's not like November 1 rolls around every year and a bunch of signings get announced by every club

Hopefully we send an offer to Papali'i at 12:01am tomorrow morning lol
