Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

We should be after Curtis Scott before Naiqama surely. Definitely worth the risk on a cheap contract

Naiqama has genuinely been playing better than Curtis Scott - he's also a much better bloke. Scott is a piece of trash.

I'd rather neither. We shouldn't be this desperate for a centre for next season at this point it's bad roster management

We are though. AD any Tommy are gone for the foreseeable future, MCK is no longer there. As it stands our only options are AJ coming back from an ACL, JTJ who was underwhelming in 2021, and Peachy because we only have the first two as options. Wouldn’t hurt to have another option.

Well, here are. October 31st. It feels like we’re on the starting grid of a F1 Grand Prix. Engine’s revving, raring to go. But once we get the green light (November 1st), you know our car will stall.

I’m taking tomorrow off work so I don’t miss any of the signing news coming out of Tigers HQ.

Great idea. I might do this as well. I'm even going to stay up past midnight. There will probably be an announcement at 12:01.

November 1 will run like this… We will be linked with everyone for 2023 and sign no one telling the world we are a development club and that we are keeping spots on the roster for whomever shakes free due to cap restraints after the rest of the league has made their moves.

You're forgetting an international centre that we have already signed. My man Oli G will prove the haters wrong.

You wouldn't normally sign Kev at the expense of a younger guy with more upside but for sheer commitment every game you couldn't find a better backup-and bloke-even in his 30's-than Kev.

Naquima's defence was a problem when he played for Wests tigers.

Our brand has always been a defensive liability. Its in the genetics of the club.

Happy November 1 eve ..everybody

A lot of upset people tomorrow when we get a lump of coal.

Not possible Scamo took it to Glasgow to show the climate summit what Australian technology he is going to use to combat climate change

Kevvie aint gonna get better at 32 than what he was 3 yrs ago...and besides,we have JTJ on our books. One risky aging centre is enough
If were gonna buy a centre, pay for an established NRL player rather than hunting in the bargain bin for geriatrics or blokes with attitude/behavioural issues(that wld be Scott)
Were not going that badly surely

I'd really rather sign neither, but gun to my head and I'd take Naiqama over Scott. I don't where the Scott hype comes from, I've watched him a fair few times and he sucks. Naiqama wasn't great here too, but he's a hard worker and would bring a wealth of experience. There's worse people you could have around than him.

But really two guys we shouldn't even be thinking of signing.

You’ve gone off early again. I will blow up if we do sign Naiqama but for now it’s paper talk and I highly doubt we’d sign him.

So it was a figment of my imagination that Sheens was chasing Hodgson .....
