Well, here are. October 31st. It feels like we’re on the starting grid of a F1 Grand Prix. Engine’s revving, raring to go. But once we get the green light (November 1st), you know our car will stall.

I think people expecting anything to happen tomorrow will be disappointed... it's not like November 1 rolls around every year and a bunch of signings get announced by every club

Hopefully we send an offer to Papali'i at 12:01am tomorrow morning lol

By my count, we have 25 players signed for 2022, which means at some point, at least 3 or 4 players have to be signed before round 1. Maybe more if Liddle moves on. Waiting waiting waiting.

Good ol Kevvy huh. He was actually really good for us in his last season, and could have been re-signed. He’d be getting a bit old now I’d have thought. Not any worse than anyone else we could sign at this time of year though, so why the hell not

I just checked, he’s 33 in February. That’s pushing it, even if there are no other options. Look, 2022 looks like another year of trash anyway, so whose it going to hurt giving him a year and seeing what we can do for 2023.

I hope whomever we get to join our club it brings improvement , we had a fair team in 2021 just a fair team , the loss of young Dane was a major blow for us , James Roberts never seemed to get fully fit to have a crack , the addition of Hastings and Peachy will improve us I believe and if we can secure 2 top players and a couple of guys off top team benches we should improve next season , a top 8 finish is not out of reach and the addition of the 2 assistant coaches will also help ( Hodgson , Scott , And the parra back rower would be nice

I think this year more than ever it will be about dollars and cents, players have taken a pay cut last couple of years with covid and will be looking at next season as catch up.
