Looks like we have recruited well from QLD with the focus on pathways

The Wests Tigers have six of the best – Queensland schoolboys merit prop Herman Tofaeono (Keebra Park SHS), 2021 joint Justin Hodges medallist Chris Faatugu (Marsden SHS), outstanding Wavell No. 13 Junior Taungatua (Wavell SHS), middle forward Mou Taumaletila (Marsden SHS) and utility Kienan Tempest (Marsden SHS) who is a David Stagg clone.

Throw in brilliant Kirwan SHS outside back talent Dudley Dotoi from Far North Queensland and you have a bag full of good kids headed to the Wests Tigers.

People need to wake up to the fact that this club is indeed doing good things and stop blaming them for the past mistakes.

Maybe the club should communicate a lot better with there stake holders … if this younger talent is on the books TELL us ,explain what’s happening and the direction the club is taking . COMMUNICATION costs nothing it’s easy but the most fundamental resource that organisation do not use effectively.

I actually met Addo Carr on Cup Day. Lovely fella. Asked him why he didn't come back to the Tigers and he said we didn't want him

But we made an offer?

We wanted him

He was just greedy

Went from wanting to come back to Sydney for family reasons and signing a HOA with us to if you hold out another year the dog's have a bigger offer for me so stuff the family I'm staying in Melbourne for another 12 months on an upgraded offer than joining the dog's for the money they are offering

The version I heard was that the values were about the same. But when he first agreed to go to the Tigers, Storm agreed to a player swap with either Nofo or Talau. Tigers said no way. JAC then felt well if you won't trade for me, clearly you don't want me there that badly.
This would match up with his "they didn't want me line".

At the end of the day glad we didn't pay too much for a winger. He was pretty average for storm in the finals. Not saying he won't turn it around but doubt he was going to be a full back we were hoping for

We did pay too much for a winger though…way too much. I feel sick every time I think of Nofo still being on the wing in 2025

Marata Nuikore signs with the Warriors. The Eels won't want to lose another backrower. Watch them up their offer now for Papalii. And guess who is likely to miss out on another signing ? All conjecture of course but I have seen it too many times. We deadset move at the pace of a slug with anything we do.

The Warriors have got quite a few players off contract that’s how they can afford Nuikore and @GNR4LIFE Mahoney hasn’t resigned with the Eels yet however I do expect them to up the offer they offered him with the Bulldogs come knocking

Well it’s reported that we are interested at what I believe is a good contract. We are willing and able to meet …… so really like every other time we are in same position ….. then it’s up to the manager and the player to show if they are genuinely interested and willing to sign or whether they are just using us as a lever.
Pretty much all we can do in “get it done department”.

I noticed in Foxsports (?) an article that said Parra''s Sivo is on $400k per year contract up till end of 22 season, then he might head over to France and R.U.

Ist comment typical of the imported players- no loyalty to league just their paypacket.

2nd comment- compare pay of Sivo and Nofo. It can only indicate we paid well over what we should have for Nofo's extension of contract. .

Serious question. Why do you come on the forum?

It seems you feel all of the clubs decisions are wrong and that we will get the spoon next year. It can't be fun to come here every day to argue about how bad the club is - particularly in the off season when we won't get any answers until next year. Just wondering where the enjoyment in coming here to do that comes from?

Let me ask you what you plan on doing with all this cash you have available. Seriously the people on here amaze me, I'd rather overpay by however much for quality players than have cash sitting in the bank. Seems in every way the club is scarred from previously issues, overpaying DUDS (not quality), therefore bulking at any opportunity an actual good player asks for an above par value.

Throw in brilliant Kirwan SHS outside back talent Dudley Dotoi from Far North Queensland and you have a bag full of good kids headed to the Wests Tigers.


And yet the majority of the forum are still carrying on like Jason Taylor is running things.

People need to wake up to the fact that this club is indeed doing good things and stop blaming them for the past mistakes.

Maybe the club should communicate a lot better with there stake holders … if this younger talent is on the books TELL us ,explain what’s happening and the direction the club is taking . COMMUNICATION costs nothing it’s easy but the most fundamental resource that organisation do not use effectively.

I actually met Addo Carr on Cup Day. Lovely fella. Asked him why he didn't come back to the Tigers and he said we didn't want him

Went from wanting to come back to Sydney for family reasons and signing a HOA with us to if you hold out another year the dog's have a bigger offer for me so stuff the family I'm staying in Melbourne for another 12 months on an upgraded offer than joining the dog's for the money they are offering

The version I heard was that the values were about the same. But when he first agreed to go to the Tigers, Storm agreed to a player swap with either Nofo or Talau. Tigers said no way. JAC then felt well if you won't trade for me, clearly you don't want me there that badly.
This would match up with his "they didn't want me line".

At the end of the day glad we didn't pay too much for a winger. He was pretty average for storm in the finals. Not saying he won't turn it around but doubt he was going to be a full back we were hoping for

We did pay too much for a winger though…way too much. I feel sick every time I think of Nofo still being on the wing in 2025

Serious question. Why do you come on the forum?

It seems you feel all of the clubs decisions are wrong and that we will get the spoon next year. It can't be fun to come here every day to argue about how bad the club is - particularly in the off season when we won't get any answers until next year. Just wondering where the enjoyment in coming here to do that comes from?

I come on the forum for two reasons.

1) I’ve been a fan of the team for almost 40 years and have contributed a huge amount of time and support during my time as supporter. As I explained yesterday that gives me the right to say what I please
2) I’m voted in the top 5 negative posters and I need to maintain my ranking.

On to your last point, I get very little enjoyment out of watching the tigers get flogged every week. Perhaps that should be a sign of frustration rather than apathy, which you seem to have?

I've heard all that too

There were many stories going around

He was the one though who stated the recent deaths in family members had him wanting to come home

So we finally stand up to a club and say no to a swap and he spits it and says we didn't want him?

Sounds like an excuse to me to back out of the deal for more money elsewhere

If family mattered that much he would've put up more of a fight on compassionate grounds

In the end the storm upgraded his offer for his final year with them which he had been sulking about as it was signed years ago and he thinks he was now worth more and he surely took a bigger offer at dog's

Funny how all complaints about going home to be closer to family disappeared from the face of the planet once his storm deal was upgraded and he had his deal with the dog's waiting for him

Plus we chased him pretty hard and offered a good deal with chance to play fullback

Oh if I remember correctly there were incentives if he made it at fullback

Maybe he realised he is just a winger and wouldn't of triggered those bonus incentives for being a fullback and that he could earn fullback money playing on the wing for the dogs
