The longer it takes the more that Canberra pay of his current year's salary. It may be easier for both sides to sign off on closer to the season, when he's been paid a third already. If the numbers are right, would be $300K out of $900K, leaving only $600K to haggle over. I think we want to pay $500K, so there's only $100K's worth of negotiation to occur.

Fox League is reporting that there are Tigers players(s) who are currently unvaxxed. Having a look at players social media + photos from Leichhardt earlier in the week leaves the list of potential players as:

Brooks, Twal, Liddle, Tamou, Joffa, Luch and Peachey.

We should know more as pre-season returns soon. Just hoping for the best outcome as we know the certain NRL/border restrictions that will be in place for the ‘22 season

we will pay about 600K, eels won't match it. met with us last week, met with eels this week. likes our offer, feels loyalty to BA and the eels. won't get released this year unless something spectacular happens. decision shortly
