I hope those saying Hodgson is done after doing 2 ACLs aren’t the same people suggesting we sign Christian Welch.

She’s of the belief that deal still has legs. Lots of he said she said right now so it’s difficult to squash the rumour completely

Papalii is a risk based on one good season but has a good motor. I'll be curious to see if being surrounded by a far less aggressive pack has an effect on his effort.

It’s not one good season. It’s one good season after showing a couple years of potential. People forget Taupau came here and had one good season, got a contract with Manly the next, and went on to be one of the better props in the game.

And as for him wanting to come here, why wouldn’t he. He has one year left on a contract that won’t be renewed. And we’re the only club offering him anything beyond next season. Not the greatest argument for his enthusiasm.

Just reading that thread. He seems confident with his info. A lot of comments saying he had one good year. Not necessarily true. He looked the goods at the Warriors, so the year he had wasn’t a total surprise.

He was 100% good at the warriors and showed plenty of signs of becoming a good player. I wanted him before he went to eels

She may have good information but you need to know who is feeding her the information and for what purpose. False information can be deliberately leaked to cause division within an organisation and unsettle an individual in the hope of achieving a desired outcome. It's times like these everyone has to unite and prepare for next year.

She may have good information but you need to know who is feeding her the information and for what purpose. False information can be deliberately leaked to cause division within an organisation and unsettle an individual in the hope of achieving a desired outcome. It's times like these everyone has to unite and prepare for next year.

He is far from a has been. Still has a lot to offer

If a 32 year old coming off 2 ACL’s isn’t a has been, then idk what is. It seems like the text book definition.

God your so negative, we are linked to an international player who is a known leader and actually wants to come here and all you do is talk smack.

Because these types of signings have always worked out for us in the past haven’t they.

Can't actually think of the last time we had a player of his calibre actually want to sign here.

A player of his calibre 3 years ago. Typical Tigers signing, signing a player 3 or 4 years past his used by date. And if you think I’m just being negative for the sake of it, let me point you to Tamou, BJ, Roberts, can even argue Peachy. Nothing changes at this club.
